Likes

Classrooms are very big and spacious with the availability of large library.
College placements are excellent and interesting.
There is a small space observatory which I have never seen before.

Dislikes

Online payment is the only thing I've faced problems with.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are many branches of Computer science engineering and one of the best branch is Computer Science and Technology. So, I have opted for this course. Faculty : student ratio is not bad at all. Faculties are very friendly and helpful for students. Faculty members are all PhD holder except few teachers. Exams are really difficult.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships should be done by Internshala as it is the most trusted platform by our college. I always prefer to choose internships from different platforms with my dream stipends and job roles which I will be perfectly fitted for.

Placement Experience

5th semester students are eligible for the college placements. Companies like Microsoft, TCS, IBM, Capgemini Accenture and many other visit oftenly to recruit a bulk amount of students for placements. Highest salary package is 12.5 LPA in this campus. Almost all students are placed in the last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is so high that one have sell his/her kidney for this. You have to pay Rs. 110000 for admission. Then Rs. 85000 for each semester. Many scholarships are there to rescue but still its too high to pay.

Campus Life

Library in this campus is very big with the facilities of AC, all types of books and journals to read and many more. Fests are there for our refreshments per year. Classrooms are really very large and spacious. 100 students per classroom is the best thing I have ever seen. There are many clubs to join including a small space observatory on the rooftop in this campus.

Admission

Students have to pass their 12th grade examination with atleast 60% marks from renowned board. There are application forms available both in online and offline mode. No reservation benefits are available for students in this college.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-.
