There are strict discipline in my University. All faculties are helpful.
Campus is clean. Toilet is also fresh. I like it.

Dislikes

There is no big playground. We cannot play as our wish.

Course Curriculum Overview

I thought to do B.Tech because my family and school teachers advised me to do so. There are enough faculties in my university. I don't know the exact no. of faculties but it will near 40-50 in my dept. They all are highly qualified and have PHD. Most of the faculties are very much friendly and helpful. Some of them are rude. But I like everyone's teaching style. The term exams occur after 2 months in a semester. There are 3 exams in 6 months.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Basically I don't have any idea about internship opportunities. But I will say that placement will be on our own's eligibility. Skills are most important thing for job . We need to do some single projects and some group projects.

Placement Experience

From 7 semester students become eligible for campusing and placements. Some of the companies which visits our college every year are TCS,TATA, Wipro, Capgemini etc. I heard that most of them offers more than 100 placements. Highest package is 20LPA and avg is 4LPA. Percentage of students getting placements is approx 70%. My plan is to do a job or business after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees is near 8lakh. Only online payments are valid. After clearing the sem fees University provides us a bill. Yes there are scholarship for poor students . But I don't know the exact name of the scholarship provided by our college.

Campus Life

The annual fest occurs in January. I don't have any idea about this fest because I am a new student and did not attend any. There are a huge no. of books and journals in our library(near 300000). Classrooms are big so there is no problem. There we can practice all types of sports & extra curricular activities in our campus. There are many groups for different games.

Admission

No there wasnot any entrance exam. By checking the HS percantage students got permitted to admit in the course. Application form was providing from Ashram building,IEM. Application fees was 110000. I was admitted on May. And there is no reservation benefits.The admission process is perfect so I don't want to suggest any improvement.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
