Remarks
The college is ranked top under many affiliated VTU colleges. It has a hospital near by so that if any emergency occurs also we can consult them and there is a special card for our college students but one of the most drawback is we have a mortuary in our college near to our hostels. We feel lot of inconvenience by seeing those deaths while walking on that road.
Entrance Preview
The entrance exam i wrote for entering into this college is KMAT exam. I came to this college as many of of my friends are also doing post graduation along with me. There is no interview process but some initial process for submitting out documents and they called it as counseling. During the counseling itself i selected my specialization that i am supposed to do in my post graduation.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I am currently doing is CNE. I choosed it as it has lot of future and will drive a way for my success by acting as a catalylst. It focuses more on practical learning and theoretical learning will be very less in our college. There are a lot of research initiatives taken by our college students and staffs. They also encourage research initiatives in undergraduate level itself.
Internships Opportunities
The college made internship a part of the curriculum both in under graduate and post graduate level. The students are supposed to do the internship suggested by their project guide and they will be marks credited for that. I am currently doing an internship near our college in a private company and the stipend I am getting is eighteen thousand five hundred rupees.
Placement Experience
The placement in our college is one of the best boon for each and every student. The percentage of the students that get placed is nearly ninety to ninety five percent. The major companies that visit our college are both software and marketing companies. The package that they offer for a post graduate student will be four to five lakh per year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee that we pay is totally two lakh fifteen thousand. It includes tuition fee that is the college fee, hostel fee, books fee and all other basic amenities. But the hostel facilities that they provide for the fees that we are paying is not at all enough and a lot of changes had to be made in the facilities that they provide. They don't even provide us food.
Faculty
The faculty in our college are highly qualified, Many people are Ph.D holders and the assistant professors in our college are pursuing their Ph.D. The staff in our college are interactive but during the time of project submissions and viva they show their true colors. The standard of teaching is intensively high and it will take time for a normal student to get adapted to it.
