Unlocking the real experience by insider of M.S.Ramaiah student

The course curriculum is very good in the first year they teach about all the basic engineering subjects and cover all of them. Then from 2nd year they move the interest of the students towards their branch and help the students get to know about their branch completely and focus on it. The teaching methods are very good with smartboard computer and with all the facilities. After the academic start there will be 1st internal after almost one and half month duration and the same for 2nd internal then after 10 to 15 days of 2nd internal there will be Semester end practical exams then there will be theory exams. After result the next semester starts.

The intership is given to all the students the campus placed students get the internship from that company in the 7th and 8th sem with almost half the salary of ctc. The projects are done by the students and with help of teachers and done perfectly and displayed by the students.

From the end of 6th semester the student gets eligible for campus placements. Almost 250 to 350 companies visit with almost all the top companies for the placement process and offers made is between 1300 to 2000. Highest package for this year was 52LPA 2024 and average is 8-12LPA with 95% placement rate. If a person doesnt get placed in 6th sem he also has chance till 8th sem end to get placed in which most of them get placed.

The KCET fees is 1,07,465 and extra skill lab fee of 20000 has to paid by kcet students and it it almost same for all the categories. The COMEDK fees is 3,12,600 per year. The management seat is around 18 to 20Lakhs for 4 years. All the fees is included except the stationary. The fees may be hiked upto 10% every year. The government of karnataka gives SSP scholarship for OBC,SC,ST and the amount varies even NSP for other state students.

The annual fest are done every year as Kannada Rajyotsava in the month of november and the other fests will be done depending the the facilities there are many hackathons and programs and sports held very frequently. There are almost 1,00,000 books with many ebooks in the library. Each and every classroom has all the basic needed and projector and wifi. There will be interbracnch sports meet and also intercollege sports and other activities held during the academic session. There are n number of clubs in the college for each and every activity there is a club in which u can join and participate.

The rooms usually are 2 sharing with free unlimited wifi, water, washing machine. The food is good and is better but sometimes doesnt taste good and is purely veg food. The hostel availability is based on the rooms available and is very much affordable and registration can be done during admission process. There are n numbet of pg available near the college withing 500m.

I had also applied for RV College of Engineering but i got admission in M.S.Ramaiah Institute of Technology as i got the seat in this college during KCET allotment due to cutoff and rank variation i could not get it. This college is also one of the top 3 Engineering colleges in karnataka and top 100 in engineering nirf ranking. The management seat is done directly in the college. The KCET and COMEDK admission process is done through competitive exams and allotment is done through the agencies according to cutoff and rank.

The student to teacher ratio is very good and also is there is a proctor to look after you as a guardian in the college . All the faculties teach very well and be friendly with everyone and do not do any partiality. There will be 2 internals and average is taken and you will have a quiz or assignment and the semester end exam. Most students pass the exams easily. The course curriculum is decided by the college as it is autonomous college and they teach only the required things.

The gym opens twice in the morning and evening, cafeterias are open from 8 to 5, library also is open from 9 to 8, the campus is open from 6am to 10pm The hostel timing is 10pm and college is 9 to 5 Cafeteria , sports ground, restaurants and many more. The locality is very safe to roam around.
