Course Curriculum Overview

4

I was always interested in zoology and botany butni couldnt choose between it. Life science is a perfect combination of all the science subjects including theory and practical knowledge. In this course i get to learn about quantum chemistry, biotechnology ,cell molecular ,biochemical and many more. The total number of students in my classes are 80 and has a perfect ratio of male and female. For the lab classes we're divided in 3 batches. All the faculty members are are very supportive and had great knowledge in their respective subjects. They hold ph.d degrees. The exams are taken timely in different methods presentation and practical exams are also being conducted. The exams are always based on what we are taught in class and the study material provided by the teachers

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is probably the least according to all the colleges offering bsc. Courses as the lab facilities cost much more. There's definitely a hike in prices as at the time when i joined the college the fees was around 12000 but in 3rd year now its 14000. With the separate examination fees. Theres Du scholarship but not as such any specific scholarship for this college. Companies comes yearly to hire students on the basis of their skills but most of the companies just hire interns.

Campus Life

2.5

The college campus is very small there's barely any space foe big fest but from year the college has organised fresher's party and a small fest inside the campus. The classroom are big to accommodate 70 to 80 students. Sports and other activites are just started and there's different societies based on ur choices that will definitely help you to build a good cv and learn and explores yourself.

Admission

I took admission on the merit basis. The cutoff of this college for bsc. Life science was 91 percent so i got admission here in the first cut off list. I filled the delhi university application form in September and by october i got my college. It was a veru easy process all i needed to do was just fill all the details and can sort list the colleges and courses on the basis of marks i scored. There is reservation of STs and SCs but no caste based reservation. The college has improved on so many levels whether its about maintaining the hygiene or education system it has surely improved

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Zoology)

I got zakir husain in my 1st cut off

*It's a general course so every subject is taught in detail. *The course is not very practical and doesn't offers much with respect to real world applications. Those who want to do phd, research or want to become a professor in Biology can take this course. *The Focus should be more on practical releated to real world applications . *Exams are held every 4-6 months and they are easy to moderate.

Placement Experience:

There is very rare placement for my course in my college. If you want any placement, you have to do minor in some other subjects like economics and statistics. You can masters after that and then PhD. Then you can become a great mathematician in future too. Most students are thinking to clear the Upsc and other government exams after the graduation. If you want to any placement you have to score around 9.5 cgpa in your 6 semesters.
