Remarks

I think it's one of the prestigious college of Delhi University one could have the chance to get into and learn and develop. I have the best memories of my life whether it's freshers or farewell , everyday classes to festivals.

Entrance Preview

I got my admission through merit. I took BA English honors as my subject for graduation as I always had a keen interest in literature and wanted to explore the art stream . I love to read and didn't think of any other subject better than English hons which could give my hobby an advantage.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I think if anyone has desire to go into journalism, writing or just want to inspect about the different aspects of life and human psychology. they could pursue it.. and mainly they should be good readers.

Internships Opportunities

It was our choice to do internship. yes they provided various internships.

Placement Experience

5

Many student from B. Com got placements in distinguished companies such as EY and others.

College Events

5

Aghaaz is the yearly fest which is scheduled for three days in the college.. throughout these days various competitions held in the premises .. such as solo dance, group dance , photography, gaming etc.. and my college is the only college in DU which has a rap beat society.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since PGDAV comes under Delhi University. It's a government University.. It offered the course at the lowest fee structure. I deposited 12k in my first year and around 11 in second and third year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think college provide scholarship to meritorious students.

Campus Life

3.5

Extremely organised and very active societies i have seen in my college. Jalsa is the Bhangra society and many more societies it had for acting and singing and photography respectively.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't remember any of seniors came back to the college for alumni.

Exam Structure

Since I had art stream. I didn't have any labs. And exams were taken in a planned manner.

Faculty

5

Each of the faculties of my college were either had a doctorate degree or they were pursuing. Urvashi Sabu ,she is the best lecturer I have got the privileged to learn from. She taught me not only the subject but the primary and imperative substituents of life and human behavior. And I would like to say that Renu Kapoor , the HOD during my session was the most simple and sophisticated teacher. Who taught me so many things including punctuality the most .. as she used to take our morning classes of 8:00AM and always came on time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit
