Likes

the campus life is fine considering the type of people
the infrastructure is really nice and the college is pretty
the societies are a bit happening and fun

Dislikes

canteen barely has any food and nescafe is expensive
professors take studies for granted and serious ones don't know how to teach
fests are really boring, they used to be good previously

Course Curriculum Overview

the course was similar to commerce and also had computers which was a pro but the syllabus isn't much helpful, some of the faculties are fine but most of them don't even know what they're going to teach or even if they have the knowledge they don't knowhow to convey. exams are easy to pass but most of the teachers complete the syllabus on the end moment, not all though.

Internships Opportunities

the internships generally are in a good amount in comparision to a lot of other DU colldges but the pay is usually less. more companies should be invited and the better ones with good working environment and better stipend. background and history checks should be done.

Placement Experience

the placements are good but aren't really great, i plan to do post grad in future so i wont compulsarily have to work meanwhile but there's a significant percentage of people that dont get placed. good amount of companies come i've heard

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees is very less and it's pretty cheap and there are no merit based scholarships, there are financial assistances provided to a few castes and that's it, campus jobs are available too but the package is low

Campus Life

the infrastructure is good but the social life isn't much, the college is not very happening, fests aren't really great from a couple years, library is good, classrooms are not really great, societies are the only good part of the college's social life

Admission

Took CUET, prepared for it myself, it was pretty easy, had to prepare a preference list of different colleges and courses and according to your marks and cut off the college and courses were given to the students.

Actually the 3 discipline core subjects are truly important and relevance to my course. However the skill enchantment course and value addition course, even EVS taught this semester barely helps. Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

MY COLLEGE - HEAVEN AND HELL

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit

Gari College has given endless memories!!

I obviously like every girl in India wanted LSR but 790 was the cut-off for LSR and for Gargi it was 772. I missed my mark by 6 numbers or percentile or else I would have been reviewing LSR currently.
