Course and carriculum are not much good but the placement of this adjust all this problem l. All the teacher are well qualified and have good of their respective subject. In this college two exam where taken one is call mid sem and other is end sem. The question were quite tough to solve .

tution fee of this college is 62500 and hostel and mess fee are 17000and 15000 respectively. The person whose family income is less than 1lakh avail full fee remission and whose family income is less than 5 lakh can avail 2/3of fee remission.

College life is good but most of the land was not in use and also it has open campus. Our college conduct annual fest call cultfest, technical fest ojass, and also many branch fest.our college have many clubs for different interests of people

I think hostel facility is quite is good in this college . Because in 1st year we get a room with double occupancy but from 2nd to 4th we get single room with balcony.Hostel fee is 15000 and mess fee is 17000.

Admission

The admission in this is through jee mains which is considered as India's toughest exam and counseling for admission in this college through jossa portal in which jee application No. Is asked so they can fetch data from jee mains application.Also in this college there reserve seat for Ews, Obc, Sc,and St candidate.one more benefits can be avail on basis income in which candidate having family income less than 1lakh can get full fee remission whereas with family income less 5lakh can avail 2/3 fee remission.

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . You have to score at least 75% in class 12th board to get admission ....Read More

I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
