The course curriculum is good and relevant with a balance of core and optional subjects which influenced my decision to choose it Suggestion: Add more practical labs, industry related topics and focus on real world situations Exams 2 exams mid sem and end sem difficulty is medium to hard

Choose this college because for its strong faculty, placements and campus Life Compared to others it offered better infrastructure and industry ties The college admission depends of your rank so I got this college on my rank The admission process is Nimcet exam and eligibility is you should have your bachelors in any stream with mathematics as compulsory subject

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:20 Some main faculties of MCA are alekha sir and chandrashekhar azad sir both are much helping Their are two exams per semistar mid sem and end sem both are medium to hard level but it depends on your study and also class test happens 2 to 3 times in one semistar

Night Life

Gym has opened from now and has 20 peoples occupancy opens in morning nd evening same gym for girls and boys but different timing Hostel in timing for boys is 10 pm and for girls is 8:30 or 9 pm Their is as such no hangout places inside the campus but the boys and girls generally meets up nera Nescafe where all gather for enjoyment

In our college placement companues was visited definitely but they had not provided at highest packages to anyone. from the 5th semester they started their process and upto last semester they select some candidates and some did not. Average packages in our college its around 1.5 LPA to 2.5 LPA and the providing companies are like :- zomato, swiggy, wipro, Tech Mahindra etc.

5th semester students are eligible for placement. 3rd semester students eligible for internships. Companies like Google, visa , optum etc. visited here. Highest package 45lpa by Amazon. 85%students got placement approximately. After getting degree I interested to work in product based company.

NIT Jamshedpur students life

Course Curriculum Overview:

For me course are superb but I think there might be changes as there are new technologies and tools that are being used over the world but there are some of the things that are still being taught that are outdated now but no one is taking care of this. and this is not the mistake from the college side this is the problem of the country education system

Placement Experience:

Placement cell was also made in our college and after semester 5th recruitment agencies are approaching to campus for campus placement of the students but not in high number of placement companies are available for highring. Zomato, Swiggy, Ekart, Techmahindra etc types of companies are hire students for their companies. And they gives not much high packages i.e. 2.4 to 2.6 LPA to overall students. Percentage of students hired was less After graduation degree my vision was to proceed for higher degree for good future.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . 1.I choose this college because of its reputation over campus placements. It has high placement percentage. 2. I got NIT Jalandhar cse and NIT Raipur CSE but i preffered NIT Jamsedpur ece due to its high campus placement percentage. 3.The main entry for joining in NIT Jamsedpur was through JEE mains exam. Detailed review of nit jamshedpur

I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
