my college

the campus is huge with lush greenery which has its own charm but is in the outskirts of the city which has its own pros and cons. it is a quiet place with some mesmerizing scenes but being in the outskirts one has to travel some distance for many chores.

Course curriculum is well balanced and planned out so it not only covers large ground but also gives us thorough fundamental understanding of the subjects of which is essential for my course. Exam structure can be divided into two parts. Internal consisting of three quizzes each of 10 marks and a project and presentation of 20 marks, second the end semester exams of 50 marks.

the reason many students prefer our college is the placements. more than 150 companies come to our college and each of which is reputed. packages given by companies is also generally above than average if you are a good student. unfortunately there is no internship not atleast to my knowledge.

well I have not been a part of this college for long but within my limited time here I can definitely say that just within span of three months many events by college, the societies within college have taken place is still going on. pantheon, janmastmi, independence Day celebration, induction programme are some of many activities that have taken place just within 3 months.

fees these days are increasing exponentially. it does seem a tad expensive when I think how much it used to be just 3 years ago.The fees for clearing back papers are really high. the hostel fee also seems expensive when you compare it with the facilities provided.

our college offers scholarship based on the gpa achieved by students. students with gpa above than 7.5 get 10 or 20% of tuition fee as scholarship and 8.5 gets 30% and above 9 gpa get even more scholarship

extracurricular activities go on throughout the year. whether it's the sports meet, cultural activities, society activities etc. about labs being a computer science student it feels like boasting but there are more than 10 computer labs with computers having good configuration.

yes, I have opted for hostel. about hostel infrastructure it's not that good but then is a place you can live and survive and thrive. each hostel has its own mess facility, the washroom are clean, well nearly at least but it does stink

seniors are really helpful. they tell us real do's and don'ts of both curriculars and extracurricular activities. they guide us on how to study, what to study, which points to pay attention to. what are the things we must avoid doing.

First you have to fill form and take exams and wait for results, after results list of eligible students who have crossed the cut off is give by college, then we have to go to college and have our certificates verified and then pay the fee, voilà admission process is complete.

One of the pros of my college are the faculties, each of them is a master and intellectual in their respective field, they are genuinely supportive and helping, they are encouraging and supportive and motivate us to achieve better and strive forward.
