Remarks

I was admitted to the MCA 2yr (2021-2023) program, and it is entirely based on a cut-off system. Besides this, there have been more than 30+ courses (UG+PG+PhD) here. Some courses may need an entrance test. Overall, the college is decent and impressive for the city. It is NAAC, UGC, and AICTE approved too. The eligibility for admission to DSMPU Ranchi is based on the cutoff list. The university releases the selection list on the website. You can get the application details sub-details on their website. The form filling is done on the chancellorportal website. You'll get the link on DSMPU's site too. There's no such thing right now, although it depends on your last year's performance. According to my improvement seeking admission process, the university must follow its own notations and deadlines; I have seen many students admitted after the admission date has passed.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because I have some vision for carrying this out. Also, I have done BCA before this and the skills are not upto the mark, and my previous good college has not provided any campus selection boot. The current faculty are well educated and experienced. You will feel familiar with them. But some are strict too. Well, that's what a familar looks like. Exam difficulty is determined by the course/syllabus and the amount of preparation you put in. The bad thing is that sometimes the examination gets postponed for some reason, and that is not good for students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got admission and for that I have paid Rs. 23107/-which along with the semester-1 fee. and it'll cost around 20-23k per semester for the upcoming ones. It's a good thing for students that they have the option for scholarship the Jharkhand gov. provide scholarship for all the courses through Ekalyan. Only General categories students are not eligible for this scheme.

Campus Life

4

Well, my social life is not good and I'm a kind of shy and introverted person. So maybe my experience differs from others'. Not all the books are available for the students; my department has a separate library that comes with books and books only; you can't sit and read them there. You'll get the opportunity to participate in a variety of academic activities and sports. The college will announce them every year along with the registration link. The buildings and infrastructure are huge and strong too, constructed before 1950, although this year, the university separated the vocational courses from the main building. They call it the Vocational Building of DSPMU. I don't know about any social groups. Well, I have political groups in my mind that are ABVP and AJSU Chhatra Singh, and they really care for the students.
