All about Dr shyama prasad mukherjee university Ranchi

The course curriculum was overall good and was doable. One field of improvement is the practical approach that needs to be. strengthened and regular practical classes needs to be taken to increase the overall potential of students. It was not that difficult in my course to qualify with good marks given that one should must try to understand and implement things in real life as well.

The faculty was good .The course fee was approx 3000 per year that sums upto 9000 excluding the other charges such as exam fee and all . Exams were conducted on time and the overall experience of studying there was great.one can also avail scholarship provided by the state government ie E Kalyan if one has the required documents . General students are not eligible for this scholarship . The course fee has not increased yet in 2024.

Oh yes this is the thing that i loved the most in my college.They organise various regional festivals such as tusu parab,karma festival, Sarhul festival as well as holi ,diwali etc. They also organise technical and practical events along with seminars and competitions on various topics that no doubt helps to enhance students interaction and performance socially as well as mentally . seminars and events periodically takes place in the seminar hall with great efficiency and participation from students of all the departments of the college.sports events such as volleyball ball and cricket tournaments were also being organised anually. Student groups and parties were also active in the college for example ABVP and ajsu students party is the dominant one. Election for students head also takes place regularly with full transparency. I have experienced all these activities myself and I think these are the things that makes this college stand apart from regular colleges in the city of Ranchi..

I didn't apply for any other college as this college was in my proximity and was affordable to me . It is easy to get into this college .To get admission one has to give the CUET examination on the basis of which the merit list is made .If one clears the exam and his/her name comes in the merit list then he/she is eligible to take admissions in this college after the verification of some essential documents. The list of which is shared to the students by the faculty itself.

In my class there were only 80 students with a. faculty of 5-6 person per semester that equals to 1 faculty for 16 students which is very good in terms of ratio. I would like to name Amrit sir as the faculty member that i liked the most due to his clear insights on the subject and for the fact that how easily approachable he was . Almost every student who appeared in the final examination came out with flying colours but there are always few exceptions.
