A good college for various courses

Positive remark about my college is it provides a variety of courses under one roof along with extra curricular activities. Negative remark is our college infrastructure needs a development so that students can comfortably attend their respective classes.

I feel the course curriculum of our college is one of the best out of all the colleges in jamshedpur. There are different levels of courses such as ug, pg, b.ed etc. It provides a variety of choices of course whether it be of science stream or commerce or arts. There are departmental activities so that you can improve your skills. There are also certificate courses of extra curricular activities such as martial arts.

No our college doesn't provide internship oppurtunities. There are several courses in our college and not just one particular specialisation. Providing internships to such a large no. Of students of various departments isn't possible.

Placements and job oppurtunities are quite less in our college. However companies like wipro, tcs etc. Do come to our college for placements. Eligible students are allowed to attend the interview. Additionally if you're interested in teaching and our college do have any vacancy then you can apply for the same. And you're selected on the basis of your academic results.

Our college celebrates every festival with great passion and enthusiasm. Each department have their freshers day and farewell day celebrated with students. The college also celebrates convocation day with the alumuni students of the college.

The fee structure is very feasible and affordable. The admission fee and examination fee are quite feasible and are easy to afford by a middle class person. The rate of vocational courses are quite high but not more than any other colleges in India providing the same course.

There are scholarship facilities for sc/st candidates and economically weaker sections. U have to submit your all the required documents such as caste certificate and income certicate etc. in the college and u can avail the scholarship.

Yes there extracurricular activities in our college including sports, music, dance, labs etc. As mentioned above there is a indoor stadium and a gym for sports activities and their fees are also less so that everyone can afford it. There are separate music and dance certificate courses in our college.

The infrastrucre of our college needs development. There are seperate laboratories for all departments but having such a huge number of students require more classes to be build. However the canteen is newly made and it is quite good place to chill and hangout. Additionally our college have a indoor stadium and a gym for sports activities. Additionally it provides hostel facilities to students of other city. I will rate it 8/10.

Yes every year our college celebrates the convocation day and the alumuni students who had a great academic record are invited and honoured. Many of the alumuni students are still teaching us as faculty in the college. Sometimes seminars are organised so that alumuni students can share their experiences with current students.

Our college have a semester wise exam system. Each semester consists of 6 months. Exams are held at the end of each semester i.e. twice a year generally during December and June. Apart from these each department holds its mid semester exams.

I have applied to this college through online application. There are reserved seats for sc/st/obc candidates. Once the merit list were out i was in the 1st position in the ST merit list. Then i had submitted all the documents to the college and paid my admission fees and confirmed my admission.

I feel the faculty of our college are good enough to support us throughout the course. Other than studies they also take us for departmental trips or any other such activities. They are also strict about our attendance. Parents teachers meeting are also held regularly.
