Course Curriculum Overview

1

I was very fond of mathematics in my intermediate times that's why I chose to do my graduation from BSC Maths Honours. But I chose the wrong college for doing so, which overall ruined my life. After coming to this college, I lost my interest in studies and this is the only thing I gained from this college. So, I would recommend everybody to stay away from this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are six semesters in BSC course which consumes duration of 3 years with each year consisting of 2 semesters. My bad time started with the 4th semester in which I didn't gave an external paper due to some personal reasons but I reappeared for the examination in next year. My fee is 5000rs.

Campus Life

5

I have been very sporting person from my childhood, when I was in college I played twice From my college cricket team that was a very nice experience truely. Library of the college is good and staffs of the library are also helpful you can fetch any of your courses books that you wish to. I love the calm nature of my college campus.

Admission

I was eager to NDA when I was in 12th but unfortunately didn't cleared so, I took admission in Sindri college with maths as my honours which I love to solve and this college is the most nearest to my home. But eventually, I came to know I made a mistake now I am trying to sort out my graduation certificate problem so that I could move forward In better and fruitful direction.

Faculty

1

I would be answering this question with full truthfulness, forget about the faculty and students relationship as, what I have seen in my 3 years of BSC graduation there were zero classes organised. 90% of the students don't even know the names of their class teacher.

Night Life

4

My college don't provide any kind of hostel opportunities because it's basically a local residents college. So, answering this question is not possible in my case. But as far as talking about the night hangout areas you can hangout in Sindri Market especially in Shiv Mandir which is a hub of every student preparing for competitive exams. You can go there and spend hours without getting bored

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

Actually biotechnology is an interdisciplinary program where we have to learn mostly the practical skills but there is no such equipment for doing a decent type of research work as they are not in a working condition. So first it has to be corrected and new equipment should have to buy for a making a good laboratory.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.

As the session started late so we have less time to complete the syllabus but it will be fixed after one semester. Teachers don't go very fast in order to complete the syllabus they focus on that the students are understanding the lectures delivered. The frequency of exam is ok 2 in one semester.
