Entrance Preview

After Intermediate from DVC Intercollege, BSK college was the only good option to pursue Graduation. BSK college was the constituent unit of BVU Hazaribagh.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is vast and have content to deep rooted concept understanding of concerned area of study. The student will require labour hard to imbibe the concept understanding to score good in the annual theory and practical exams. The syllabus and reference study materials are published by the University only.

Internships Opportunities

Unfortunately, this was not initiated during my college days and still I am not very sure about this internship program. But for sure they refer good student to premium organization for internship for e.g. ISCO, BHEL, DVC Corporation etc.

Placement Experience

2.5

There are some specialised skilled programs, where this kind of placement activities carried on. These activities are done by predecessors only. I wish there should be a separate placement cell run by skilled professionals.

College Events

4

There will be annual functions. Teachers day, Independence Day, Republic Days get celebrated. Annual Sport activity carried out at university level for short-listed student and they need to participate centrally at selected venue by university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee stricture is very nominal as it's a Government owned unit. Admission Form - Rs. 250 (Approx) Annual fee - Rs. 1200 to 2500 Approx. Other facility charges like Library/Lab/common hall will be charged on demand. this is again very nominal around 250/100 Rs.).

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes it is in place. Need to inquire at college only. Different quotas for SC/ST/ OBC/Physically challenged/ Teacher quotas are there.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is 70% Male V/s 30 Percent Female. But in Zoology Hons. It is quite reverse. You will get more female than male. Healthy environment as it a co-education campus.

Faculty

4

In my college days, Prof. K.K.Gupta for Zoology(Hons) with earned degree of Dr. was extremely good in explaining the subject. The importance of topic covered and where will it be used in future study and in real life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I see a lot of students who struggled in maths, that's why I chose this course. If I talk about real-world examples, from number systems to multiplication, fractions and trigonometry to find the height of pole. Areas of improvement are to relate mathematics with real-world examples, use methods like Vedic mathematics, and also creative, active participation rather than rote memorisation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very fond of mathematics in my intermediate times that's why I chose to do my graduation from BSC Maths Honours. But I chose the wrong college for doing so, which overall ruined my life. After coming to this college, I lost my interest in studies and this is the only thing I gained from this college. So, I would recommend everybody to stay away from this college.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.
