Sindri College, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, is a government college which was established in 1964. The College has been affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh and also credited with NAAC. The College is a Constituent Unit of Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University, Dhanbad.
The College offers a range of Intermediate, Undergraduate courses in the streams of Arts, Commerce and Science and also vocational course which is self-financed.

Selection Criteria
Students applying for the Honors degree, need to have obtained a minimum of 45% in the concerned subject at Intermediate level. Students wanting to change their faculty from science/commerce to Arts Honors can do so provided they have received a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
All selections are strictly made on merit basis according to University rules.
How to apply?
- Admissions are conducted in offline mode as the registration forms are available at the College itself.
- Candidates wanting to apply to Sindri College need to fill the application form available at the college counter at Rs.25/-.
- Selection process is undertaken on the basis of merit only.
- List of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the notice board.
- Students must complete the admission process on or before the due date. No extensions will be provided.
- In case of vacant seats, preference will be provided to waiting list candidates.
- At the time of admission, students are required to submit required documents like caste certificate, migration certificate, and income certificate among others.

Ans. Yes. 3% seats for each undergraduate course is reserved for students performing exceptionally well in sports. This quota will be filled on the recommendation of the Athletic Committee on the basis of State/University level participation of the student.

When I was enrolled the admission process is done completely offline. But nowadays all process of admission is via online from applying to admission. Also due to Covid-19 college is conducting online classes. I am from UR. So there are no reserve seats for me but yes Quota seats are available. I am not applied for any other college because my marks are not good and my financial condition is bad.

I am applied for Sindri college and also for Aligarh Muslim University but the entrance of AMU is cleared and in the merit list, my name is selected because of my marks. I am scored 71% in 12th, so it was selected and my selection number is 45. There are some reserved seats but I am under UR quota. The admission process is online from applying to admission.

It is near to my home and also the study available at its best for any student. The faculty and the college staff provide convince for every student also there are many of my school seniors graduated from there
