Below is the 3 year course structure for B.A General Examination degree:Nine papers, 3 of which will be Optional subjectsTwo papers dedicated to Language.One paper for Environmental Studies.12 papers are divided into 4 papers each year over the course of 3 years.

Can a candidate apply for a B.A Honors course even if they have not studied the concerned subject at intermediate level at Sindri College?

Yes. Candidates can apply for a B.A Honor course at Sindri College even if they have not studied the concerned subject at intermediate level. Provided they have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate at the Intermediate Examination level in Science/ Commerce.*(Mathematics, English and Geography do not fall under this scenario)

Do students performing exceptionally in the field of sports get any preference at Sindri College?

Yes. 3% seats for each undergraduate course is reserved for students performing exceptionally well in sports. This quota will be filled on the recommendation of the Athletic Committee on the basis of State/University level participation of the student.

Are NCC cadets given any preference while applying to Sindri College?

NCC cadets with C certificate are awarded with a weight age of 5% over and above the marks they obtained in qualifying examination. NCC cadets with B certificate are awarded with a weight age of 2% over and above the marks they obtained.
