The first thing is the campus placement.
The second thing is the hostel facility.
The third thing is the environment and buildings of the college.

Dislikes

The lack of good exposure of the college campus.
The open campus of the college which is not good for the students.
Very less time is given to the students for the daily sports.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my inspiration to become a good software engineer.all the faculties members are very much supportive who are ready to help the students in their study everytime.The ratio of the student is 1:6 where there is 1 for the girl and 6 for the boys .All the faculties members are PhD holders and they have good teaching skills .in every semester one mid sem and one end sem exam is conducted in the gap of 2 months . It's little bit difficult to pass the exam but the continuous study of the student let them pass easily.

Class Size: 124Course Fees: INR 106000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is distributed in such a way that there is 62 thousand for the tuition fee and 15 thousand for the mess rest is for the hostel , annual sports,bus charges which is provided for the marketing purpose for the hostellers .There are many scholarship for the students..

Campus Life

The college annual fest is culfest and the tech fest is ojass and culfest is held in February whereas ojass is held in November.There is a library in the the college where there are lots of books and journals available.there is also sports fest held in the college named as urja.There and many technical and cultural club in the college.there is a nss club which helps the poor people by sharing clothes and may required things to them.

Admission

The placement of this college is very good and the environment which exist here for the students are one of the best of all the colleges found nearby .one of the best hostel is provided here for the students where they get single setter bedroom from the second year .The electricity is available 24*7 which make students very comfortable in their study..

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

According to my perspective or point of view students initiate preparing for placement cells in 3rd year ( 5th semester). The highest package of our college is 14 LPA And average package is 3.4 LPA. Approx 72 %students got placed in different different companies like tcs, wipro, accenture etc.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . Detailed review of nit jamshedpur

I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
