At the time of counceiling and enrolling, college at advance took a massive amount of 80k as first semester fee with jossa fee inclusive, later they started taking money as semester wise after every endsem final, and the money was overall increasing every semester , the reason was mess fee and hostel fee additionally getting increase every 6 month, Talking about scholarship, allthough I have not avail any scholarship, there are scholarsip sections available in our college where you can get state based scholarship, also many private and government organisation providing scholarships based on test and performance like ONGC petrolium funds, NGO funds,etc.

The fee structure includes tuition fees which is Rs 125000 per year which includes 2 semesters. For people with family come below Rs 5 lakh there is 2/3rd fee rebate in the total tution fees and for people below Rs 1 lakh family income and SC/ST students it is nil tuition fees. Caution fees is Rs 10 thousand and one time admission fees is Rs 32000, while registration fees , lab and development fees covers to around Rs 1000 for each semester respectively. My batchmates pay fees according to the income slab and category they belong while i pay the full amount without any fee remission. Scholarships such as PM modi yashasvi yojana, FFE, E-Kalyan are available for students.

The fee structure for general student is about 1lakh in every semester. For catagory students (sc/st) the tution fee is zero but they have to pay the hostel and mess fees. There are many scholarship available for students as per their state. And in the campus students have many responsibilities to maintain.

For a general candidate and OBC and ews students fees is 62500 per semester and for sc and st it is 0. Hotel fees is 15000 per semester for all and mess fees is 17000 per semester is also common. The only scholarship you have is fee remission you can check it about in nit jsr official website

NIT Jamshedpur : A half-NIT

The tuition fee at NIT Jsr is around 63,000 per semester. The hostel fee is about 15,000, the mess fee is 16,000, and the institute fee is 10,000. So, the total fee per semester is approximately 104,000. However, there are ways to get fee remission based on certain criteria. If you are an SC/ST candidate or if your parents' annual income is less than 1 lakh, you'll get a 100% fee remission on the tuition fee, meaning you only have to pay about 41,000. If your parents' income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakhs, you'll get a 2/3rd remission on the tuition fee, so you'll have to pay around 63,000 per semester. There's no remission for those with an annual income greater than 5 lakhs.

NIT Jmashedpur - good for placement... But campus life is not so good

Physics, chemistry labs are very old type. It should be updated.

Tuition fee of NIT Jsr is 63000 approx per sem. Hostel fee is 15000 Mess fee is 16000 And institute fee is 10000 So, total fee per sem is 104000. There is also fee remision based on criteria. If you are SC/ST candidate then you will het 100% fee remision on tuition fee. Means you have to only pay about 41k. Or your parents' annual income is less than 1lakh. Tuition fees is perfect for the campus and for the quality of course it's providing for us. We should pay 45k for all the tuition fees and hostel fees and mess fees for everything. We get national scholarship portal for sc/st/pwd candidates around us in the campus

Mediocrity that Shines

The total academic and tution fees for each semester is 62500 with no hikes in any subsequent semester and the hostel and additional fees are 59500. These fees include the money paid for availing mess and hostel facilities including Wi-Fi, maintenance, repair and recreational facilities. In the beginning of first semester there is a certain amount of money that needs to be paid as caution money but that gets refunded by the end of the college duration. The college doesn't provide any scholarship of its own but there are many external sources which provide hefty scholarships to either students who are of high merit or those seeking financial aid. There are many scholarships especially for girls of high merit who come from financially weaker families.
