New hostel rooms will be provided for first years with single room for each.

Dislikes

South style food was very rare here. But good food for North Indians would be available.
Poor food quality , mostly the foods available are in north style.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel is very very good it's modern kinda. Room is very spacious. it's built in such a way that natural sunlight is every time here in our room. About My room. I got almirah cupboard and our table, one chair, one bed, one tube light and other bulb too and 2 charging ports are here. Night lamp is also there and one balcony is also there and view from balcony is very very much good as we can see mountains from here and trees. Mess quality is average like what you expect when you are awesome your home right. it's very much good to for survival. hostel affordibility is okay it takes 15000 per semester I mean 30000 year.

Distance of the Hostels and classroom are slightly far.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostels are alloted to each student in the college. For the first year single room is shared with 2 students while second year onward single room is alloted to single students. Mess food quality is not so good but it is manageable. If you want hostel in the college you have to just fill the form then make your payment.

The fees of hostel per semester is 18000 and hostels are very good for first year there are two person in one room aand by second year there is seperate room for every individuals . The mess is also very nice with good food and most of the people live jn hostels only

Hostel Facilities:

In 1st year you will get a room with 2 beds that means two persons will be staying in 1 room. The rooms are allotted according to your JEE Mains rank and your roommate will be your classmate. From 2nd year onwards you will get your single room with a balcony. For girls you will get Tripple sharing room all throughout your 4 years. But many new hostels are under construction so it might change from next year onwards. The hostels are around 500-600 metres away from your Department and Academic building. You will get hostels for 15k per semester and mess charge is 18k per semester. The mess food is over-all good with lot of options.

We get one bed and one cupboard in our room. In the first year we have to share our room with one partner but from second year we get a single room. Milk quality of Messi's we can say average. We get four times chicken in a week. Instead of chicken you can get paneer. Hostel and message very affordable as as the cost of Australian match including is 33000 for one semester which is average as compared to another college. No there is no PG available beside our college.

The hostels are good but not so good like it's Okok But coming to the mess food provided is like hell and is equal to eating shit We all people used to eat only rotis on afternoons and made sure to fill our stomach in the canteens We all spend most of our money like 90% of our pocket money on food itself Like in a week 4-5 days we get food from outside and canteens or order online

A senior of mine from school used to be a student of NIT Jamshedpur. She has said that the first-year students are given the mega hostel. It is the best building of NIT Jamshedpur. My senior was so comfortable in her hostel that she often used to skip classes to stay indoors.

There are drawbacks too as listed below:

Internet connection is lacking in the hostels but the administration is working on it.
You will have to walk 150 meters for food.
You will also get indoor game facilities like table tennis in the hostels of NIT Jamshedpur.

My senior found her hostel very comfortable while she was a student there.

There are basketball courts, tennis courts as well on the campus.
The hostels have sufficient space for balconies. In the backyards of the hostels, there are also open-air theaters.
Along with that, there are also four elevators in the hostel.
There is a sufficient number of toilets and bathrooms and they have two geysers as well.
Water purifiers are found in every block, making the fetching of water quite easily.
The hostels are some 600-700 meters from the academic building.

From the second year onwards, you will be allotted single rooms, unlike the first year.
