How are the hostels at NIT Jamshedpur?

Hostels are quite good but there are many things to improve eg no wifi connection is there, No cleaned bathrooms, Only 2 Fans in everyroom. and mess food quality is hell. you'll get good food at Breakfast and non veg days but mostly it's hell..

HOSTEL ARE LARGELY SINGLE ROOMS FOR EACH IN THE NEW HOSTELS EARLIER IT USED TO BE DOUBLE OCCUPANCY MEAL QUALITY EXCELLENT AS WE HAVE OUR OWN MESS SECRETARY TO LOOK AFTER SIMPLE REG PROCESS DURING ADMISSSONS

there is one bed one table one fan one chair and unlimited LAN services and also unlimited WIFI services meal quality is decent enough but you can not expect like home registration process is simple and prices is only 6000for one semester

The hostel in which I am currently deciding is one of the best hostel I have ever seen it has all the basic facilities that a hostel should have it has proper lighting block internet facilities it has LAN and Wi-Fi. All the food provided in my hostel is very bad sometimes it is not eatable. We have complaints travel times but they have won taken any initiative vative towards our food. Yes the hostel and mens is pretty affordable you have to pay 15000 for hostel at 17000 for mess per semester.

Basic facilities include wi-fi,lockers etc Hostels provides aura purified water. Also provies hot water in the mess Mess and hostel are interconnected for first years. Registration process was done at the time of admission. Registration was not a big process and per semester hostel fee comes upto 18000. Hostel fee was affordable. I had taken campus hostel .
