USICT review

I choose usict as my second option because of 2 reasons first being top college of ipu and second the branch was considerably better ,the faculty at the college is better than other ipu colleges as because of being a Public University most faculties are Phd holders some of them teach very good but there are few teachers that gives students a little trouble our exams are as follows: 2 mid term exams and 1 end sem

Internship options are available to students from 4th semester onwards and most of the students try to get internship for Pre placement offer the college training and placement cell leaves no stone unturned to give opportunity to students

From the 7th semester companies start coming to our colleges due to close proximity from gurgaon and Noida students get many opportunities to crack placement in 2022 70+ companies visited the campus with an average of our branch being 14.5 lpa and heighest bein 45 lpa on campus 51 lpa off campus with 95% placement rate

For year 2022 students fees was way lower they had to pay 80000/year but from now onwards they are charging 120000/year but still it is less than other ipu colleges and many private colleges there are ews scholarship for students belonging to ews category also there are many off campus opportunities for scholarships, considering the placement factor of 2023 it's a bit low due to recession but in the future it will rise again to an average of15 lpa atleast

There is one annual fest which is anugoonj that happens in February and one tech fest which is infoxpression which happens in novemeber.there is one central library of GGSIPU dwarka called uirc it's a huge two storey building and all book are available,our classroom are equipped with fans and black board just as a regular college classroom,we have three volleyball courts and one big ground(you can play cricket ,football here) as our campus is huge of approx 80 acres ,there are 4 tech clubs (IEEE,gdsc,acm,SDC) and many non tech clubs such as enactus,aveksha,swar and many more

I registered for GGSIPU counselling for BTECH and filled USICT as my top priority and got it in the last round as I was outside Delhi candidate with a rank of 26698 you can see the cutoffs for this college is a hard nut to crack in the exam the total fees for the first year for USICT is 132000 and from second year onwards it will be reduced to 120000,as I was not a Delhi candidate i couldn't get into DTU ece my dream branch so I think there should be more weightage of merit than reservation in these colleges with prestigious reputation
