Campus is good, there is too much greenery as well as there is two large ground for cricket and football

Mess food quality is very very poor but quantity is not poor in other word there is good quantity but not good quality

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose mechanical because of my interest Teacher and student ratio is about 1:45 Qualification of faculty is most of them are Phd holders few of them are mtech faculty teaching method is not very good as YouTube teacher but normal as we studied in school basically most students prepare for examinations through YouTube after the pandemic because of digitalization every one like to do study through youtube that's why teacher also do less hard work there is a semester-wise major examination but before the major examination there are two minor examination

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 64000 per year

Placement Experience

After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement Almost 100+ companies visited like jsw, L&T, Unilever, Mahindra etc The percentage of getting placement is not very good because students don't focus on studying if you do consistently study then you will be placed in about 5 to 6.5 lakh in mechanical

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is basically affordable in comparison to other colleges you have to pay 32k to 33k per semester tuition fee + 3500 semester hostel fee +2700 mess fees yes there is a scholarship opportunity for students who basically belong to farmers they are given a Mahindra scholarship and there is a central government scholarship for MCM, st/sc as well as a few seats for FW students

Campus Life

There is an annual fest which is generally conducted in month of September and the tech fest is conducted in month of March Central library is awesome where you can get all the latest publications of books there are almost all the facilities available for all types of sports either Indoor or outdoor

Hostel Facilities

3 person in one room but in third year of you have good cgpa you will get seperate single room Meal quality is not good Registration process is very simple and fast Don't go for PG'S because college hostel fees are very affordle

Hostel Fee: INR 7000 per year

Admission

The admission process is based on jee main rank And cut-off for mechanical is 1 to 2.5 lakh rank in jee main. Eligibility is 75 percent in 12th The admission form is basically josaa and csab counselling. There are reservation benefits for EWS, OBC and st/sc but there is no girl's reservation

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. Teachers should be more friendly and try to undertsand the students's prospective also and not rush the syllabus we have our exams every regular month (STs and evaluations and end terms)

I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in this college in this college previous year average package was 9 lakhs 50 thousand and highest package was 60 lakhs but in this college number of students are very high so competition also increases.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
