Course Curriculum Overview

3

I have chosen this course because I have an interest in Electronics, hardware and software. So the faculty for First Semester Electronics(H) is For Semiconductor-Ajit Sir For Network theory and circuit analysis-Poonam mam and for Python Programming mam. The average student ratio is per 45 students 1 faculty. All the faculties are well qualified and they are Professors and Assistant professors. Their teaching method is normal like all the teachers on white board they taught us. The term exams were on time and they are moderate to pass.

Fees and Financial Aid

So there is a small hike in fee structure from last year. Last year the fee was Rs.19000 this year it is changed to Rs.28845. As I have been accommodated in a hostel so total cost for a year is for myself Rs.180000 Recent college has recently released a scholarship for needy students.

Campus Life

2

The annual fest In Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is Kalrav and it is celebrated in the month of March. There is no technical fest in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College. I think all types of books are present in our library. Classrooms are accommodated with well-furnished seats and a projector in each classroom. Sports facilities are not good in this college. The clubs are Sangyaan the quizzing club, the Robotics club, the Vivekananda Study Circle club, Escapade the Adventure club, Debsoc the debating club.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostels are divided into one Boys hostel and one girl hostel in the boys' hostel there are 45 rooms in each room 2 students are accommodated. We have 2 separate beds with Gadda and separate Study table and chair and a common bathroom. So the meal here is fine and each day the menu is different for Summers it is different and for winters it is different. The registration process is simple on the college's official website. They follow first cum first serve on the basis of merit in examination.

Admission

I have opted for the science stream so the eligibility criteria were Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Delhi University colleges. I am currently in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College(Delhi University) in BSC Electronics (H). I have filled application form for CUET 2022 from Samarth Portal, the application fee was Rs.1750 and the last date for application for the UG course was 22 May. So I lie in the OBC-NCL category the reservation is 27%. Yes in the admission process, there was a delay in all the things.

Students become eligible for campus placements around 5th to 6th semester. Highest package of 2024 was 25LPA. Usually 8CGPA is considered a sweet spot for campus placements plus it gets them easier to get into world class universities for post graduation.

Acharya Narendra Dev College - [ANDC], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Biomedical Sciences)
Reviewed on Mar 3, 2026(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.
