Course Curriculum Overview
I was very interested in electricity and electronics so I chose this course. I would have accepted the electronics and communication branch if allotted. The student-to-teacher ratio is good. For every 15 to 20 students there is one teacher. The qualification of the faculty is mtech and phd. The term exams are very timely and the difficulty level is moderate.
Placement Experience
The eligibility for placement is from the 6th semester. Many companies have visited and many offers are made on an average of 500 offers per year. The highest package is 35 lpa and the average is around 6 lpa. My plan is to get a job after the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is very much affordable there is no such policy as such but the college gives you a fee structure before even getting admitted. If you go to the college through a government seat it will be around 1 lakh per annum. And it varies according to the branch if you go through a management seat. There are some scholarships and the details can be enquired in the college. The campus job placements are very good.
Campus Life
There is an annual feat called ezparanza and it is conducted in the month of June or July which is an inter-college fest. There is another fest called Antaragni which is an inter-department fest conducted in the month of December. There are many clubs for and run by students for example - the gaming club, math club, etc. The infrastructure is very good. And there are sports tournaments held regularly.
Admission
Worte an entrance exam called CET and based on the ranking the seat was allotted. Cut-off is released every year. There is reservation of backward classes and low annual income but the criteria should be met accordingly.
