i liked the the environment of the college and the greenary in the the campus.
the people in the college are very friendly
we have wifi all around the campus to get faster internet

the method of teaching in all the colleges are same
no proper teacher to teach some of the subjects

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course, because I got only this course in this college which is somewhat I liked about the course because I love designing the applications as per the human needs. The course is well structured I can say like it helps resolve the real word application which starts from the fifth am I guess?

Internships Opportunities

college provides the internship opportunities from fifth semester onwards and most of them are unpaid internships, because student didn't learn any skills until the fifth semester. After that in HM, we get the most of the internship which are around 25K per month.

Placement Experience

the placement is good and average I can say because the average package of this college is around 12 LPA, which is like normal in Bangalore and after joining, we can get the appraisal and the final salary will be around 30 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

-> i paid around 110000 per year. -> the fess inlcudes all the tuition fees, caution fess,registration fees,admission fees and all -> the SC category paid 500 INR per year. -> the OBC pays 110k per year -> the management student paying 300k per year

Campus Life

the overall experience with campus life, focusing on aspects, social involvement and the infrastructure is, I can say better than the normal PU college experience and many things to learn in this college like survival

Admission

I chose this college over the other college. I applied because it's it giving me the choice to study on my own with some extra leaves for internships. Also, it was near to my residence. Which will help me to travel less

Faculty

we have basic to moderate faculty in out campus college. the course have so many subject where some of them are very unwanted!!! like litrally we have biology for engineers as a subject which is of no use

they wont suggest us nothing to take like take that course or take this course , we ave to chocie that which course i want to choose , the course cyber security have to have more changes in our collage the teaching methods should be improved like they wont teach in real time they just go through the syllabus thats it , they have to aa special lab outside the syllabus which they dont have

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

IIT Dharwad Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

I was passionate about this course.Faculty in our course were experts and experienced lecturers. Our faculty 3 to 4 members were P.hD holders. And others were M.Tech and also pursuing P.hD The exams were in every 6 months duration. Some subjects are easy to pass but difficult to score and some are difficult to pass

Engineering life :Mixed emotions and doubts

I had applied for colleges through KCET and COMEDK but didn't participate in counseling because of my 12th percentage. I've come here through the management quota. Students must have passed their 12th and should have written entrance exams for eligibility for this college.Cutoffs were very high this year and hence couldn't get a seat till the 2nd round in COMED K. The admission process is ok, but the resume entry and VTU registration were rushed. The management wasn't clear with students, and some of the students admissions were cancelled as per the reports. I don’t recommend to join this campus
