I chose this course because it has good placement and offers a good package in our college. It is also the preferred course for many, with good marks. Therefore, I chose CSE as my course.
Internships will be offered in the 7th semester of college, which will be very useful for gaining knowledge.

Dislikes

The VTUs timetable is structured all around the year in a way that doesnt give students sufficient time to indulge in various other opportunities and internships.
Sometimes, these students dont even need to pay any fees, while others pay as little as 20000 per annum.

Very good fests happen and also nice platform to students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yeah exams are always conducting in time and teaching methods are quite good and also all the labs are always available and also projects are always asked to do which really helps us in the resume update

Overview of my college (DSATM)

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is good and the security also.
The faculty of our branch were all experiences lectures are there.

Dislikes

The college hostel is also good it's only beside our block although I'm not stayed on hostel my friends told me the quality of the food and the hostel is so expensive.
The placement provided for us also good in numbers.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college is good and the placement group that created for the information that solves our enquiris for any issues.almost 50 companies were visiting for the placement drive for our MCA graduation and the special thing is the placement drive is Start for us in second semester.

The quality of education is really good the faculty are extremely knowledgeable
There are a lot of events happening all the time so ur mind remains fresh

Dislikes

There isn't any playground or playing amenities for students
The food inside the college and surrounding the college is not upto mark

Placement Experience:

There are decent placements provided by the college if you are from a computer background your chances of getting placed is around 75 percent companies start to visit while you are in your 6th semester. Almost 60 percent of students from college get placed while the rest opt for higher studies

Teachers are friendly and understanding.
Campus is situated outskirts which is something I like because it is less crowded and peaceful.

Dislikes

Placements is becoming less day my day, maybe because of the recession.
Now it is converted to autonomous but it was VTU before.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is available in our college. They have a good average but right now due to recession the condition is bad and the placement is not happening that well. Or else the placements are good in general.

the campus is good and spacious and is green too for a certain extent .
the new integrated lab for cse-ai students are big and airy and we also have our very own desktops.

Dislikes

the faculty are average but the hod of the departments are good
the boy girl ratio in each class is less theboys are much more than girls in a class especially in mine

Placement Experience:

placements are good at least thats what they say and they say average ctc for each student is very good but it odesnt matter coz its all upto your skills and your responsibility to land a goood job and then average ctc for last year graduation for aiml students was 10-13 lakhs per annum the highest salary offered to students in the entrire history of our college was 1.3 crores to a girl from cse department .lasrt year 2023 the percenetage of students to get a degree was around 89% i guess am not sure tho and my plans after degree are to go to masters abroad or in bangalore itself

I liked the location of the college, it is surrounded by greenery.
The ratio of girls and boys is equal. In some branches it's more.

Dislikes

The main disadvantage is it takes a lot of time to go as it is a bit far from the city.

Placement Experience:

In the previous year there was a good number of placements and the avg was 3 lakh per annum. Students were hired in companies like Cape Gemini, Microsoft and other top companies. The highest placement was 51 lakhs per annum.

The college had a good infrastructure and had mant sports facilities
The fests were a bliss to the students as it involved a lot of activities

Dislikes

The facultly were not that great and lacked practical knowledge
Students were required to maintain 80 percent attendance which and no medical leave clamims were avaiblable .

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from 6th semester Some of the companies were like phonepe,accenture,amazon etc Highest package was 24lpa and the average being 5.5lpa Percentage of students placed was 70percent Mostly students opted for placements and not further studies.

The Golden Life at DSATM!

Likes

The college environment is very peaceful with full green gardens and its surronded with mountains and less traffic makes it truely beautiful.
The students are also very decent and its a middle class friendly college , not that Posch , people who are actually good at grades are provided as your friends so its a extra point.

Dislikes

The 1st two years of college you have attend classes till 3 pm thats a bit hard .

Placement Experience:

basicaly from the end of 6th semester that is from end of 3rd year your placements starts and all kind of companies do visit from IT to chemical to electrical etc. some hire in mass some hire a few particular this college mains a group where all the info are transmitted if a company is wanting to hire it relases a google form throughbthe groups and students can apply if they are eligible. companies like Phonpe, oracle,infosys,accenture,KalkiTech,EY,insightsoftware and alot more list goes on and on... all these companies hire a hand full of students and they 1st give them paid internships for months later full time employee convertment. they highest offer in last year was 32lakh and average is 5lakh to 6lakh with least is 3.5 lakh.

The truth behold

Likes

Some teachers are really nice and teach well
it is pretty far so it is kind off peaceful

Dislikes

The campus is small, no place for any events and even the audi is really compact
No major events held, the clubs are also not that great.

Placement Experience:

The placements of the ISE department are really nice, they have the highest package till now and continue to do so. this is probably the only college where it has more value than cse. The average package is 5-7 lakhs and the highest till now for the present batch is 16 lakhs

Green campus with well built infrastructure.
Professors are well qualified with good knowledge.

Dislikes

Canteen food is not good.It doesn't taste good.

Placement Experience:

They try their best to get placed for each and every student.But there are some eligibility for sitting into the placement.They give training for placement and highest package offered is 46 lpa and average is around 7 to 8 lpa.
