Really liked the campus life, and the location of the college

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good as I always wanted to learn more about commerce, the college faculty is really good and helpful they clear all the doubts in a way that we can understand easily. I always wanted to learn about finances, we have our semester exams next month

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Placement Experience

I'm just in my first semester, so I don't know much about the placements as of now, but on an average 6-7 lakhs per annum is what a person would get if he/she has a good score and CGPA in the final year and does good with the interview.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are really low as compared to private colleges obviously and Rs. 13,000/ year isn't much of a fee for the course. I did not take any scholarship exams, I paid the whole fee. would like to do some internships too.

Campus Life

I like my college life, the campus is cool and I make many friends. I even joined the societies in my college, which makes college life even more fun for a person. recently I had my freshers party in my college, it was really fun too

Admission

I appeared for the CUET UG exam in 2023, the results were good enough to get me a college at Delhi University. I got 668/800, being from an unreserved category it was hard for me to get to my dream college at this score but anyhow I got Zakir Husain Delhi College and I like my college now.

My experience at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College so far !!

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for the placement drive. A lot of companies including high level and medium range companies visit the campus for recruitment. Some of the big names visiting the campus are BCG, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, EY, etc. Highest placement offered was 21,00,000 and average placement offered is 4,00,000. Most of the who sit in the placement drive gets placed. I plan on to doing my masters from Europe after my undergraduation.

My course that is bcom hons is really nice but as my college has no active placement sell it is of no use.. You'll have to work on your skills by ur own also have to study on ur own only a few teacher take classes lectures seriously

Placement Experience:

college is placement is not good in cvs only few people get placement avg placement is 6-7 lakh. mostly student prefer off campus placement. from sem 5, students can apply for placement only 30-50% student get placement. after graduation i'll go for post gradution.

Placement Experience:

The alumni network of hansraj is strong as it has been a doorway for many famous bureaucrats and entrepreneurs such as Naveen Jindal himself. The societies are very active as well which enhance real life skills of students which further helps them to acquire a job due to experience. The internship cell works for giving us access to prospective internship which starts from sem 1 too. The highest package stood at 36.5 lakhs . The placement cell of Hansraj is a student run cell that plays a huge role too . As I have said before , majority of students offered job (74%) were from commerce stream. The average package stands at 8.2 lpa and median at 7 lpa

Blunder

Placement Experience:

Placement was very poor. They only provide sales profile job with the average package of 2.5lakhs they also didn't provide good internship opportunity in the college . Director also not support the students

A fine College

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I didn't get admission to Delhi University due to low marks. Faculty to student ratio is 1:30. The teaching method is fine and the faculties are good. Term exams were on time when I was there.

Remarks:

Entrance Preview:

I applied to this college through merit bases i.e 12th class percentage .I scored 94.25% and the cut off for this college was 94%. As it was my dream college do i dint waste a single second to take admission. I chooser B.com because basically it cover all the fields like marketing , finance etc.

Concerning review

I applied to several colleges including hansraj college ,kirorimal college within in the university of delhi,along with a couple of private institutions such as christ university and amity university.among the zakir hussain college stood out due to its unique offering in a certain parameter. but unfortunately i didn't secure admission to hansraj or kirori mal due to their higher cutoff in my courses .
