Course Curriculum Overview

I chose computer science and engineering courses at this college. There are 2 minor exams and 1 major exam in a semester. Each minor carries 15 marks and the major carries 50 marks. The course syllabus structure is easy.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship is only available for the third year B.Tech student not for the second year and the first year. Only a few companies will visit to give internships, all the students will not get internet in the first year itself.

Placement Experience

The overall placement of my college is 4.8 lakh per annum and we talk about different branches, there are many branches available courses in my college like computer science and engineering Mechanical Engineering chemical Engineering food Engineering instrumentation engineering electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering and computer science engineer.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no fees hike policy in this college. All overall fee structure of this college is 75000 per annum including hostel fees and tution fees. There are scholarships based on family income. Mess fess is different from the total fee structure.

Campus Life

Overall the campus size area is 452 acres. There are different types of clubs like Cycle one, endeavor, mavriks, Nukkad Natak Club, etc. There are different types of sports grounds for all sports. Overall campus life is good.

Hostel Facilities

In my college there are 10 boys hostel and three girls hostel and all the freshers of JEE main which coming through at 1st year they will get hostel number 6 which is name as bs6 in this our hostel 136 seats are available. Each room contains 3 students.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

We get admission to this college through JEE Mains. This is a tier 3rd college so you can easily get a computer science engineering branch at 1lakhs rank in the general category. The average package of this college is 4.8 lakhs only.

Placement Experience:

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. Teachers should be more friendly and try to undertsand the students's prospective also and not rush the syllabus we have our exams every regular month (STs and evaluations and end terms)

I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in this college in this college previous year average package was 9 lakhs 50 thousand and highest package was 60 lakhs but in this college number of students are very high so competition also increases.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
