Collage is to good. There are very good proffesors in my collage.
Your infrastructure is also good and we have very big open air oditorium.
We have very good faculty members and placements is sure in this college.

Dislikes

Not having chemical branch which instead of good teacher of chemistry.
Not having good hostels for 1st year student.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I think civil engineering is an evergreen branch. Our faculty members are very good. They are so helpful. Most of your professors have done Ph.D. from IIT and their teaching method is so good. Your term exams are held in 2 months and between them tests are also held by our professors.

Internships Opportunities

Byjus, toppr, Aakash Institute, FIITJEE, etc. can offer internships in the education field. Goldman Sachs Amazon, Paytm, and Optum can offer internships in the field of software. Tata Motors, Hero, Bajaj, Godrej, etc. can offer internships in the field of core engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are not very high. As the student having less than 1 lakh in there income cirtificate they got full tution fees(62000) remission and between 1to near about 6 lakh will get 2/3 fees remission. There are many scholarships available for students like ffe and bpcl, etc.

Campus Life

CulFest is an annual festival conducted in April. Ojass is a tech fest that is conducted in April. Your library is also good many books related to our branch is available there. Classrooms are fully AC and a digital board is also there. Each and every sport is conducted in your college like cricket badminton volleyball hockey and many more. We have a nice playground for this. There is a monthly quiz every week. CDS(cultural and debating society) and phoenix.

Hostel Facilities

We have a bed, 2 chairs, 1 study table good light source, a good water supply, good almirah. Your mesh has a good meal quality and your mesh menu includes delicious food like anda kadi and meat. Registration is too easy for the hostel as it needs a single sign of parents and a middle-class family can easily afford it.

Hostel Fee: INR 47000 per year

Admission

The admission process is very good. Yes, I took jee mains and advanced entrance exams. The online application process and the cut-off is very high as a lot of student appears in this exam. My common rank is 47529 and obc rank is 13513.

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

According to my perspective or point of view students initiate preparing for placement cells in 3rd year ( 5th semester). The highest package of our college is 14 LPA And average package is 3.4 LPA. Approx 72 %students got placed in different different companies like tcs, wipro, accenture etc.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . Detailed review of nit jamshedpur

I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
