The infrastructure along with faculty is quite good
The library and the sports facilities provided by the college is also quite remarkable
College also provides the students the canteen facility

Dislikes

The management of our college is lethargic in terms of managing students and also maintaining discipline in the college
The behavior of non teaching staffs is quite upsetting

I have a keen interest in Political Science and therefore I opted for Political Science Honours The faculty of our college are well experienced and have a teaching experience of over 20 years, the student-teacher ratio is around 70:1 Most of the faculty members have graduated from the University of Delhi. The examinations are generally conducted every 3-4 months and in terms of difficulty, the questions are generally set in a manner that if a student has a basic knowledge about the topic he/she can easily write about it.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is around 13000 and if the student is willing to stay in a PG or a rented house it will cost him 7k-8k per month. I neither applied for any type of scholarship nor got any sort of Financial Assistance.

Campus Life

Our annual fest which is also known as 'Sabrang' is organized every year during the months of February-March. The library of our college is rich in terms of books and it is also well equipped with other basic amenities Classrooms have well-organized desks along with a black or green board Our college has a separate ground for volleyball, archery and kabbadi and there is dedicated society for each of the above sports. Our college has a social group known as 'Unnat Bharat Abhiyan' along with several other societies or clubs dedicated to the same.

Admission

You need to appear in the CUET examination and cross the cutoff marks depending on the college you are opting for. You can find the application form on cuet.Samarth.ac.in, you will be asked to pay Rs 1500 or more depending on your stream and subjects and the dates are generally announced after the 12th Board Examinations There should be more transparency in the result-making.

university of delhi have have started compulsory of courses such as VAC ,SEC and many other skill enhancement courses so that you not only rely upon your degree but you enhance your Interpersonal Skills , Communication Skills ,Speaking Skills as in future all jobs and placements are skill based not degree based so for enhanceing and developing a good personality these courses played a major role. The timings of examination were between 2,30-5,30 Pm 3 hours exam water facility was provided during the exam tenure. If in case you forgot to attend or submit your either of IA/CA you may get an essential repeat er even iof you pass in the written exam .

Not my first choice, but not a Bad one either

Course Curriculum Overview:

British classics, Indian writing, postcolonial literature builds a strong foundation in literary analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation, which are useful skills. As for comprehensiveness, the curriculum is quite broad. It covers multiple literary periods, genres, and critical theories over the three years, so you’re not really missing out on the essentials. In that sense, it feels academically complete. But sometimes, it leans more towards breadth over depth you move quickly from one topic to another.

Placement Experience:

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

My honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in college so far

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good. The admission process revolves around first clearing the cuet(ug) exam and then applying to the delhi university, then there will be 2-3 rounds of Delhi university and you'll be alloted a college as per your preferences and score and cut offs...Read More
