Course Curriculum Overview

I chose botany because I have great interest in biology since my schooling days. Deen Dayal Upadhyay College has so good faculties interns of teaching and also inspiring. In our class 27 students studied. All the faculties are PhD holders with lots of experience in their respective sectors. Term exams are very easy if you prepare well.

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 25590 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee structure in the first year is nearly 19k. It increased to 26k in the second year. Although there are so many scholarships and fee concession schemes also provided by colleges. Students whose parents' annual income is less than 5 lakh or students who scored more than 6 cgpa in exams get the scholarship.

Campus Life

The Annual fest's name is Kalrav which is great. Live performances, DJ night and other competitions were organized. There are three libraries and 3 computer labs in the college. All quarters are equipped with projectors and A.C.There is a sports complex inside the college. Games like table tennis and badminton are available. Gym facilities are also available. There are more than 14 societies in the college. They have their own Instagram handles.

Admission

I passed 12th from the Council of Higher Secondary Education,odisha with PCMB. Then I appeared for the CUET exam and got selected for Deen Dayal Upadhyay college of the University of Delhi. I selected the course Bsc. (H)Botany.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is no extra curriculum activities in my college which I disliked about my colleges and they don't even organise a normal events for students , teacher can be more supportive and teachers can be provide lots of information. They did not provide anything in any information about teachers, teachers. Teachers can be more better. The facilities can be more explain more more and more. They don't take things seriously they just they just provide their notes through online classes and ask them without clearing sections are not not up to the mark and things are not good in the college.

So I chose PCB after 10th and wanted to explore interesting courses. Food technology really made me interested since then and I was eager to be enrolled in this course after collecting all the information about it. The course has a vast scope. Lady Irwin has an amazing faculty too. The teachers here are quite cooperative and their teaching methods makes the subjects interesting to study. The teachers are well qualified from top institutions like BHU, CFTRI etc.

During my time, i applied for uptu also and get college in Lucknow but i join Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi because of university, college location, course structure and exposure. I not applied any other college. During my time 12 percentage (best of 4 subjects) is entrance and cutoff is approx 95% for general, 93% for obc, 90% for sc and 85% for st but now the change the pattern and need to write CUET exam. The Admission process was easy for me just because i've searched alot about everything. Let me tell you everything you need to know: First of all if you've already decided about what you're going to do in future and have decided which course you want to opt to then half of the work is already done. If you haven't just take your time or ask for suggestions fromm others or research. Secondly , As i say about my college which comes under Delhi University , it takes the Exam of CUET and based upon its marks hey give the admission. CUET consists of many subjects and courses according to the college or program you want to apply. You can find the Link on Google for the CUET exam , the application fees and dates changes accordingly every year. Next they do give according to their CSAS system which is a seat allocation system and it includes giving seats to students according to their marks and according to their Reservation benefits.
