Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is quite good all professors are highly qualified upto Ph.D. level. In my course student to teacher ratio is around 80:1 in theory class and practical lab class ratio is around 80:2. Course structure is quite difficult in the initial semester if you are not from a computer science background but eventually, you will learn and understand easily with practice. There are around 3 core subjects, 1 general elective, 1 AEC, 1SEC, and 1VAC subjects in one semester. If you study 15 days before the exam you will pass easily with a good cgpa.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available in college although I have not applied right now as I am in currently 3rd semester. There is an annual internship fair where the company recruits students for internships.
Placement Experience
On average placement package is around 5LPA. The company offers on-campus recruitment if you have the required skills you can get placed. Company offered with the profile - business consultant, sales manager, accountant, graphic designer and digital marketing, IT, etc. Although many students go for higher education like MBA, and other post-graduation. Some students prepare for the govt jobs, upsc, ssc cgl, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are quite affordable in comparison to other private university. My course fees are around 16,900 per year excluding exam fees which are around Rs.1,980 according to your subject per semester. The college also gives financial assistance to needy students who can't afford fees according to the terms and conditions. Every year company recruits students within the college on campus placement and the average package is around 5LPA.
Campus Life
The college is around 11 acres with good infrastructure. There is an auditorium and amphitheater around the campus. There are seminars, meetings, and fests and there are lots of clubs and societies (i.e. Enactus, Enso, Roots, Resonance) and many more to join according to your interests and hobbies. The college campus is in a good place in south Delhi. There is an NIA headquarters behind the college area. The library is also good you can borrow books for around 2 weeks for free and there are lots of books available to read and the library staff are quite helpful. There is a basketball court on the college campus and a big ground where students play cricket, football, volleyball, etc. There is also a big area for NCC Cadets to practice. So, yes college life is interesting there if you involve yourself in that activity you will enjoy it.
