Review of Techno India Newown(TINT)

I chose this course as I want to be a game/ software developer. Faculty to students ratio is approx 1:8. Qualification is undisclosed by the professors. Their teaching techniques are very basic and traditional. One might add that it's not much beneficial for the students. Exams are very frequently taken by the university which is the only good thing I can see as for now.

Our faculty gave us an opportunity to work under a start up. They didn't mention the name to us as nobody showed any interest to join the internship as most of us are already doing internship from outside sources.

6 th semester/ final year students are eligible for placements. TCS, Wipro, CTS. Offers are roughly around 3 LPA to 7 LPA. The exact amounts are mostly undisclosed by the students. Very few gets to apply for the placement and fewer gets selected. I want to join a start-up for a boost in my career.

Cost is average. We need to pay 47500 per semester. There are 6 semesters, 2 semesters each year. It sums up to 300000 Rs approx. Their is also a 10000 admission fee which is only paid once that is in the 1st semester.

Campus is average. Canteen is very costly and their is no ground big enough to hold sports tournament in the campus. There is a basketball court and a field with a small garden. There is also a library.

I went to the office and the staffs helped me to fill the forms and the enrollment to the college. A student has to graduate from the higher secondary from a school(class 12 pass) and has to appear in the CET exam held by MAKAUT. One can apply by visiting college office. The admission process should be available online so that some students can apply from their residence.
