The college were good, with a good name throughout Karnataka. The college is centrally located in the city of Bangalore (Basavanagudi) and has a though small but very good campus. The staffs are friendly and the management is also very student friendly.

GATE - 89.91 percentile score.

Machine Design: Theory of elasticity, Theory of plasticity, Advanced Theory of Vibrations, Finite Element Method, Computer Graphics, Tribology, Mechanics of Composite Materials, Seminar Presentations and finally Thesis Work.

For internship, we got opportunity at CSIR-NAL, Bangalore, which is a premier central government organization and does research and development in aerospace. However, we didn't receive any stipend during our internship, but we being paid GATE scholarship.

The placement and job opportunities for M.Tech. courses was very sparse and we attended only two companies during our stay. However, the opportunities are plenty outside and we didn't find difficulty in find jobs.

Sorry, but me as M.Tech. student didn't take part in such events, but the college did have a week long festival every year and smaller programs which normally is done for a day or two.

It was very feasible. It costed me 1,30,000/- for two years in 2006-2007. The major cost was towards hostel fee which was 50000/- for first year and the college fee of 60000/- for the first year and 20000/- for the second.

No idea as such. I had taken SBI's educational loan then from my SBI branch in my native town. This was very helpful in my studies and had also bought a PC.The fees are very reasonable in comparison to other top colleges.

Good campus life. The ground is very small and any bigger sports such as football or cricket be played. However, there were provisions for volleyball, indoor stadium for basket ball and badminton.

Very good hostel and very good mess food. I am sure you won't be bored with the food. I had an individual room, so had absolutely no problem in that sense and could stay as I wanted.

No. I am not part of the alumni and would really want to take part in the networking. Since my stay in the campus was very short (2 years) and a very small batch of students (16nos), i personally didn't feel the need to have a network here.

No it was not hetic. We used to have course for half a day and in the afternoons it was lab where we got opportunities to develop our skills related to MTALAB coding and FEA analysis tools.

Very good and experienced Professors take the course for M.Tech. students, who have solid 20-30yrs of experience in technical education. The staff is well exposed to the industry, which makes them very good in the advanced areas of engineering that are pr
