Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is well-structured and industry-relevant. There is adequate pratical explosure through labs, projects, internships, and so on. Electives offered are diverse and the course structured is flexible. Taking about the frequency of exams is once in months and are moderate in difficulty level. Students who focus in classes can easily score well.

Internships Opportunities

5

In BMSCE, Students with good skills can get internships oppertunities in their second and third year. Companies like HP, Samsung and new startups offers internships for 3-6 months . Basically, Students got 20-30 thousands stipend per months. Internships are of hybrid mode like online and onsite both.

The average placements in the college is 15 lakhs per annumn ( 12LPA for CSE).Frequently visiting companies in the colleges are ORACLE, HP, Samsung,CISCO,and many new startups.Around 70% of students got placed in incampus with decent packages. Generally students got placed afte 7th sem but got internships in their 2nd and 3rd years.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am here in BMSCE as international students, and there is special international quota which facilitates international students to get direct admission here in college. There is no particular yearly fee but we have four year package of ( 12 lakhs for AI and Ml , CSDS, AIDS courses), ( 20 lakhs for CSE and 11 lakhs for IOT ) including hostels and mess. All the fees in the package are fixed and are not increased and no more extra charge is applied

1. Annual and Technical Festivals BMSCE hosts annual and technical festivals thar brings students together for entertainment, creativity, innovation, and skills buildups. The annual cultural festival, UTSAV usulally take place in May and features musics, dance, drama, singing and many more. The technical fest is ''PhaseShift" held in December end where students can showcase their skills through hackathons and so on. 2. Student-Run Clubs and Social Groups There are many clubs in the colleges like IEEE, ACM, and many more which plays vital role in fosterinf leadership, teamwork and personal growth.

Hostel Facilities

5

BMSCE college provides the facility of accomodation for students. There are two categories of hostel in BMSCE. One is for national and another for international students. The meal quality is good and provides 3-4 times non-veg in dinner.

Admission

I have not applied for other college and choose this collage because of its location, reputation, education systems, variety of courses and placements. I have got admission in BMSCE through international quota without any written exams and interviews.

Faculty

5

There is quite poor ratio of faculty to students in BMSCE i.e 1:70. The relationships between faculties and students are good and are approachables. Students can reach out to them at any time through physical (during college time) and online( during off time). Exams are conducted in every months which are moderate. Around 10-20% of students fails exams due to their ignorance. Students need to focus on class to score well.

Interview Experience

5

As I have already mentioned that I am an international student here in BMSCE and got admission directly without any written test, GD or interview through international quota. So I am unaware about topics of GD, interview or written tests.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good but I feel the vtu syllabus is too basic, even in the higher sems, which should be improved. The electives also were too broad and hence not much useful. I also feel more than theory we should be trained and allowed to comeup with self solutions without pressure or restrictions to let the real ability of the student to surface

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose electronics and communications wholeheartedly. Since my childhood, I was very interested in electronics and very humble in learning new topics in digital electronics. I was never a coding guy, so I took electronics and communications as my course. It was an easy choice for me. So class's average strength is around 65 to 70. And the faculty: student ratio is quite good. The teachers are well qualified and most of them are doctorate holders. The timetable is arranged in a manner such that there is smooth conduction of classes for all-year students. The exams are semester wise and there will be internals every month. Questions are better, you have to know little bit contents taught in classes and also from textbooks. It is easy to pass.
