The campus size is good I guess, alot of people so can network

Course Curriculum Overview

well the course curriculum is still old it hasnt been updateed yet so it isnt so helpful right now the exams happen evey month so in 4 months semester will end they should just start from the bottom to top to change the curriculum

Internships Opportunities

volvo, deliotte, dell, unisys, mercedez benz, delhivery etc companies come to give internships will the be eligible for the internships we have to maintain minimum of 7.5 or hgiher cgpa and some companies have their own criteria and have to create some projects to clear the rounds

Placement Experience

for 1500 students they have to give placements so i would say it might be bad for alot of us they can take from 4th or 5th sem multiple local companies of india not so many from international highest was 1.5 crore where our senior got placed in zomato 87% around they said just get a job

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees 1.12 lakhs If you score very well you will get scholarship from the college also ssp is available I came in through kcet so the fees The fees increases according to kcet For sc through kcet no fees after they get scholarship they pay it

Campus Life

campus life is good because there alt of events goin around everyday and there are two main big events at start and end of the year utsav and phase shift utsav is the big one very great event phase shift is like hackathons and all

Admission

hearing people say this college is good thats why i came here i could have gotten other good colleges its a mistake applied for PES ,BVB, MSRIT etc no rejection as it is through kcet kcet jee management accepted

Faculty

150 faculty for 1500 stsudents not a particular fan of a teacher they all good i would say the java maam she is great for a bad teacher the dbms teacher total 3 internals are there they are lttle hard not many people fail though

Night Life

there is a gym inside of the college but it is small so meh library is preety good like huge so can sit freely and study closing time is around 10 pm hostel fees would be 2.3l for the first year next year on it is 1.5l food is great and hostel is good near the college there are many tea shops so people hang out alot there

5 month into the cmrit how it unfoleds for the freshers

Placement Experience:

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.

As our college has 100 years of legacy it was one of the top college. For the reason of its legacy many companies offers jobs and many of the best companies are come to our college. As I am first year student I don't have idea about it lot. Average placement is 54 lakhs. Almost above 70% of students get placed.

Other colleges were not chosen as my rank wasn't suffecient enough. Comparitively to other entrance exams the best colllege with my rank would have been BMS. Overall summary of my college in Bengaluru.

I gave first preference to RVCE, but as my rank was less compared to cut off, I was unable to get a seat in the college and I ended up getting the seat in BMSCE which was my 2nd preference.
