Here you can play break my playground anytime.
The faculty members here are very nice, they take care of everyone.
The placement of this college is also very good.

Dislikes

The playground here is in the basement, so if you ever go, you have to go up and down.
They should increase their canteen a little, the room is too small for the canteen.

I took this branch because I have a lot of knowledge about computers and this will make our life better in future. Almost all the faculty members have done PhD in this college. They are teaching very well, they also help if there is any problem.

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee policy here is divided according to each semester, the fee for each semester is Rs.75,000.Here you get the basic scholarship of your class 12th percentage. If your class 12th percentage is above 90 % then you get a good scholarship here.

Campus Life

Every year 2 to 3 festivals are celebrated here. Because many film stars come. There are many more games like uemfootball league, UEM volleyball etc. There is a library here in which many books will be available to read.

Admission

The admission process at UEM college is through management but at IEM college by WBJEE paper which is conducted by MAKAUT-West Bengal. Also if you want to admission to b.tech course you have to pass class 12 with 75% or more. To find the application form you go to wbjee website wbjeeb.nic.in and fill out the form between the months of December to January. The general fee for registration for students is 500rs.

Should I Choose IEM.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
