Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to study and do my masters in Psychology, especially applied psychology. The university was a relatively new one in my state(West Bengal). The faculty were great, knowledgeable, and doing their best to make their department at par with other universities. The teaching method is good, the Exams were timely, and only a little disturbance happened during Covid.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees were quite affordable as it is a gov. state university. So it was very less, around 8-10k for each year. Scholarships were available as per govt. policies, students need to get in touch with the administration for guidance. The only negative point is there wasn't any guidance for jobs on campus etc, which should be improved.
Campus Life
For most of our 2-year M.sc., the course was online from home because of COVID, but classrooms have improved now and there are fests organized. The library was sufficient enough, also but not aware of any social groups, etc by students.
Admission
You need to have 55% for eligibility, I applied online through the university website. It was a smooth process, although it took a long time for the merit list to come out, in comparison to other govt. universities. The application forms were about Rs1200/- as much as I remember. Reservation seats are there for students of Reservation quotas as per govt. policies.
