Likes

Friendly Teachers who help student to manage their practical and theory.
Good library where a student can borrow books.
Good management of cycle and bike stand.

Dislikes

The number of teaches should be increased.
The number of instruments should be increased.
The management of instruments should be better.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum should be improved. There are some part of course that should be added. The courses curriculum should be more practical oriented. Because of only theoretical knowledge a student will somehow struggle in their MSc .

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearwide I paid 7-8k rupees. Not so costly, I west bengal resident student can easily manage becouse the get 18k scholarship form west bengal government for bsc. Every year a student has to pay 5k for addmsion in new year and almost 1 k for exam enrollement. And if a student is unable to pay the fees. They can apply for relaxation of fees by presenting appropriate application and document.

Campus Life

There is no club. There is Good environment in college for study, for sports. In my college time I did not struggle so much in doing any office work. This college is inside the road so not so much sound and air pollution , a calm environment is present.

Admission

For other colleges, the teachers are not friendly, they behave like a boss as a heated from my batchmates from other colleges. I am not sure I just heard these things. There is also a factor I choosed that college is distance .

Faculty

Exams are not so tough becouse a student can manage very well the syllabus. There will be 3 years mainy. 6 semesters. If anybody wants then, can continue the last 4th year of research year. Do the enrollment process with time.

Night Life

There is no hostel till now. But it is possible that hostel will be available in coming years. Hostels are present in other colleges of Kazi Nazrul University. So if a student lives so far from college then first of all go to college to understand the distance.

Other Applied Colleges

Because this college better than other college in Asansol . Any study who wants to do Bsc Zoology then they should tak Addmison in this college. For other courses, I don't know.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

Computer faculty is the best ??

Other than dwc, I have applied in various colleges.. like asansol girls college, burdwan women's college, many colleges of Kolkata, durgapur michal Madhusudan college, Durgapur goverment college etc.. I have also given the ug cuet exam.. I only gave admission test in this college, as it was the closest to my home. No i didn't get rejected as I never applied although i did gave the cuet exam and i couldn't qualify. Our college's admission process is quite simple. We had to fill the online form in the college website and then check the merit list and appear in college on the day they mention for document verification . You need 50% above marks in higher secondary, there were no exam held for admission, though the 12th marks matters as the cut off is 65 above is mandatory.
