- Infrastructure is so beautiful of gargi college. You'll fall in love with it specially in winters.
- Fests and societies are best part of gargi because gargi is famous for their fests.
- College life in gargi is awesome, although there is no hostel in it but still its great to just sit in the campus and enjoy all the facilities they provide us.
Dislikes
- I didn't lile faculty. I don't know about other departments but my teachers we re not friendly at all and they tried their best to lower my grades when i gave my 100% in internal as well as external exams. And also they do partiality.
- I didn't like the washroom facilities and there were no washroom on ground floor. The only washroom we had in arts department building was on second floor which was quiting irritating to always go to the second floor to use toilet.
- I felt a little discrimination in classrooms of science department and arts department.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I have an interest in literature and I enjoyed studying it and learned a lot. The student ratio is quite okay in Gargi in my class there are around 70 students. The qualification of the faculties is nice because all of my teachers are Ph.D. Exams were not conducted timely as my batch was covid batch and it was easy to pass the exams until last semester, last semester was quite surprisingly difficult (if you didn't study well).
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of my course are good and affordable and Delhi University also provides scholarships to its students and other accessories like laptops, etc. The placements are also quite nice. I didn't get any placement because apparently, the Hindi department doesn't have many placement cells.
Campus Life
Fests are awesome in gargi college specially Reverie. There are tons of books and journals available in the library of Gargi. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted monthly basis. All facilities are available in the classroom and college as well. There are many societies in Gargi that select students based on their talents and they visit and perform in various colleges of DU and other colleges. These societies are good sources to start building your career in dancing, acting, sports, NCC, etc, along with your studies.
Admission
My admission was done on a merit basis but now if you want to take admitted to Gargi or any other DU college, you need to give CUET exam. You can find the application form, application fees, application dates, and details of reserved benefits on the collegedunia site or the official website of DU. I wanted entrance exams in the admission process and it was done by the government in 2022 (i.e. CUET) so now deserving candidates are getting admission to the University of Delhi and they get a chance to prove themselves again.
