Remarks

The Management staffs of college are not do good as they are expected to be. However,interms of cleanliness,I would rate A+ for it.The placement cell is not so active.

Entrance Preview

There was no enterence examination. DU declares cut off lists and on the basis of that cut off list,i got admitted in the college and the admission process was very simple.First of all one is required to fill DU Centralized form.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Structure of B.COM(HONS.) is excellent with almost covering every branch of Commerce like MARKETING,TAX,COST AND FM. However if i would have to rate the faculty of maharaja agrasen college for commrce,then i would give 3 out of 5 stars.

Internships Opportunities

No,the college does not provide internship bit the CENTRAL PLACEMENT CELL(CPC) provides oppourtunities for Internship.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of MAHARAJA AGRASEN COLLEGE is not so much active as it is supposed to have. No Big Four Companies visits college for placement.

There are various cultural and technical events are celebrated in thr college in SARDAR VALLAV BHAI PATEL STADIUM OF COLLEGE like FRESHERS PARTY,FAREWELL PARTY etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible like we have on an average 10,000 per annum. It means only 30000 for the entire course. There is a separate girls hostel in the college campus and i do not know the fee structure of Girl's Hostel.

Scholarship Facility is provided by DELHI UNIVERSITY itself for meritious students.

Campus Life

Campus life is not so good as compared to North Campus colleges of DU. In terms of diversity,college has students from all over the India like BIHAR, U.P, PUNJAB, HARYANA, RAJASTHAN, ASSAM etc.Gender ratio is almost equal and also the college has well equipped laboratories,excellent Library etc.

Underrated College of DU!

Placement Experience:

Students from 3rd year onwards may sit for placements. There are several companies visiting our college for placements, such as Zomato, Tech Mahindra, EY, MagicPin, etc. My plans after getting the degree personally include pursuing a PG degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college.The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .

Why DU has the best college life

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that great but decent. Mostly placements are good in the north campus but still my college provides decent placements. However one has to maintain their academic score for the same and be consistent.

I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

MAC is magnificent!!

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too....Read More

My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others. And for the admission you have to appear in common university entrance test (CUET) conducted by NTA then you have to apply for the admission through Delhi University's counselling process which is common seat allocation system CSAS then according to your score and college preference you'll get your admission....Read More
