The academics at this college are absolutely excellent. The professors are all good and polite. Teachers are extremely literate and intelligent. The importance of academics is significant in this college. All the branches are beautiful here

Internships Opportunities

Summer and winter internship programs in industries are offered to UEM Kolkata students for one to two months. They participate in this program by working in a variety of industries to gain "hands-on" experience prior to entering the workforce

Placement Experience

Students from 5th semester onwards become eligible for campus placements TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and Redhat are just a few examples of some service-based companies that offer placements to uem kolkata students. The highest package was 72 LPA and the average was 8.8 LPA. Almost 70-80% got placed. After getting the degree I want to be a javascript developer

Fees and Financial Aid

A student must rank among the top 5% of the program's merit list to continue receiving a scholarship of 100 per cent. A student must rank in the top 10% of the merit list for the following semester in order to keep their 50% and 25% scholarships.

Campus Life

The tech fest Ureckon was conducted in the month of February and the annual fest was conducted in the month of march. Computers. multimedia learning aids, textbooks, reference books, printers, scanners and other items are available in the UEM Kolkata library. The library also has electronic resources like DELNET, J GATE, IEEE Xplore and others. The library database management software makes the library completely automated. Students at the institute have access to both indoor and outdoor sports facilities, and they are encouraged to participate for their mental and physical health

Admission

1)Candidates who pass the 10+2 Science stream exam are eligible for admission to the B.tech programme through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination(WBJEE) and JEE selections(Mains). 2)There are also NRI and international student quotas

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
