Remarks

If you need to have a preferred cutoff but now cucet is required. Filling out the Application form and Application process was online, you need not go to college. There are benefits of Reservation for OBC, SC, ST and EWC.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are timely, also the faculty is very good. The course curriculum is also good. The teaching staff is very experienced as well as there are young teachers also. Classes take place at the proper time. The crowd is also good.

Internship opportunities are available in the college. Also, the teacher and the professors guide you for the internship. The internship salary mainly starts from 5000 to 10000 with a time period of 3 months or more.

The campus placement is quite average. Student during the second year becomes eligible for campus placement. Quite famous companies like mobiqwik visit the campus. Also, it depends on the student's capabilities rather than the college during campus selection.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite affordable. Also, there are many opportunities of scholarship, financial assistance or campus jobs. The cost of study is relatively low. Any student whose financial condition is not good, he/she can fill out the form and get financial assistance.

Campus Life

The campus life is awesome. The annual fest is Tatva. The library of college is great. Boys' common room and girls' common rooms are present. Sports activities also take in campus. There are 30+ societies on campus.

Insight over college campus.

Placement Experience:

South Campus Life at SBSC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose political science because i want to go for government exams and political science is an important subject for clearing government exams As per my info, my curriculum is very close to syllabus for exams like UPSC and SSC For improving teaching methods, projectors should be installed and implemented as it helps us to understand and see it more better The frequency of exam is twice a year as semester exam, and exam is not very tough nor too easy, it is medium level that anyone can score good marks if studied well.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh - A place of enhancement

Placement Experience:

Students are eligibility to sit in the placement from 5th semester and there are various companies who visited my college such as KPMG, Deloitte, Reliance, magicpin, etc. and number of offers they made were not explicitly disclosed by college and highest package was around 25 lakhs and average package is around 5 lakhs or 4 lakhs depends upon course to course and profile offered are finance, audit, digital marketer, etc. and around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

Truth About SBSC

Course Curriculum Overview:

Regarding course curriculum, I am not satisfied the additional courses like SAC, VAC, AEC have no purpose, they are just a headache which makes it difficult for students to focus on the main subjects, although I am in favour of GE subjects. The marking scheme of 90 marks written paper and 70 marks for internal is also great. In my college the students can get their placement from 4 rd sem . Whereas we can apply in internships from 2 nd sem . The highest package offered was 9 lakh per annum and median package was around 5lakh and lowest package was 2.5 lakh. My plans after getting the degree is to start my own business .

Placement Experience:

Companies visit are often at our college like Deloitte, wipro , Infosys , KPMG etc but options are wide only for commerce background students they are limited for arts faculty students like me. Highest package is about 6 to 7 lpa while most of the package ranges between 4 to 6 lpa percentage of students getting are average and they are mostly from comm letce and economic or business background. I would go for journalism and choose IIMC for my master's.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
