Likes

I like the lawns of my dept. It has so many flowers
The room no. 21 is best because it's always warm in winters and cold in summers
The plaza, sitting near vivekananda statue is best especially in winters

Dislikes

The toilets, because the unavailability of water is so bad
The canteen, the food isn't good at all and the cold coffee is yuk
The library, the most dusty and gloomy area of GRS

Course Curriculum Overview

I've chosen spanish hons. Because I wanna learn a skill and take admission in the north campus I am study in faculty of arts (that vivekananda statue wala campus) the fac is completely about protests and masters and PhD students haha.. So.. The teachers are too good and the Spanish faculty is the best faculty of GRS. My sem-1 was completed in 4months. Studying for 7 different subjects in 4 months wasn't easy at all but the teachers were so helpful and helped us a lot to pass in that difficult situation..

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 8452 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I took admission in 2022 and on CSAS portal, I've submitted 4226rs Apart from that I've paid 1410rs as my examination fee That means I've paid 5636rs in total for the first semester I've talked one of my senior and he told me about the scholarship, he told me that in the 3rd year, some of the foreign universities selects 3 students and those students goes to that particular university at free of cost and there, they complete C1 level.

Campus Life

In faculty of arts, there is no annual fest or tach fest but in my dept. I.e. GRS we celebrate spanish day in february, french day and Italian day in march The students of my dept cannot participate in elections because the dept is all about study and study We have pablo neruda library it's quite small but lots of books kept there for example lanhuage grammar books and lots of dictionaries every language course have 2 dedicated classrooms Sadly Dept. Doesn't provide any ECC or clubs or societies.

Admission

I took admission in DU in 2022. I've chosen B.A.hons in Spanish So I just completed my sem-1 and going to share my own experience as a student of the University of Delhi. First of all, I had lots of expectations like I'll visit all of the colleges of DU north campus, attend all the fests, bunk classes, make lots of friends... But, the reality is a bit different and I blame the NEP2020 for this because acc. To NEP2020 everybody has to study 7 subjects i.e. DSC-1, DSC-2, DSC-3, GE, AECC, SEC and VAC. Sadly, I have to attend the college mon-sat and the sem-1 exams were held on feb-mar which is the main fest season, due to exams I didn't attend any fest and thei ruined the Holi celebration too.. Still, I got so many friends in my campus. I've talked with many of my seniors and super seniors and my teachers are also liked me because of my studies. hoping best for the sem-2:)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

German course has high demands and in germany there are relevant chances that I can get good paying jobs,I would say that the teachers are really nice, if you study well they will help you alot and are really appreciable, I would say there are none to improve because it's kinda easy to study the subject on your own, the difficulty of exams are what it should be like, it's good it's great, to make you a better person and student, and the time duration they give is enough to solve each and every exams

Placement Experience:

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. My courses is B.A italian hons if you want this course you complete you 12th class and give the entrance exam for college admission After the 12th class I want to study about languages in college soo I want to admission in college The government of India and Delhi organised the entrance exam for college admission the name of exam is CUET If you want the give cuet soo you apply the application form after the 12th The application fees depends of your cuet exam subjects if you give 4 exam in cuet soo your fees is minimum 1400 but if you give 5-6 exam soo you fees is high After the 12th Application dates announce in 1-2 months If you reserve your cuet exam soo it's beneficial for you college The exam of cuet timing are not good in my perspective and it's a difficult exam Because you have limited timing for exam and you have also negative marking in exam and your exam is not complete and times up the computer window is automatically off and you not complete you exam...Read More
