Competitive Enviroment, this teaches you want you wont get at private colleged
Guidance, the relationship between seniors ans Juniors is better
There is no ragging in our campus. You learn a lot from your friends

Dislikes

There is no maintainance of our campus and admisinistration is not that good.
Communication between different department is not present
Tech fest are not given any importance in the colleges. Holidays for internship are also not allowed here.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was more interested in BE course and I wanted to opt for software skills. Faculty ratio 1:30, Most of the professors are well-informed and Most of them have done their Ph.D. courses. Exams are of the medium level if you study throughout the semester.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 37500 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Infosys, hcl, and other service-based companies. There are rarely any product-based companies on campus. Some startup companies do arrive. Offers are made about in ratio 1:4. The highest packages are mostly from off-campus placements about 21lpa. I will look for a job after I have completed my BE

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are hiked by 5000 in the year 2022. You can apply for government scholarships. like the swami vivekananda scholarship for west bengal students. There are no such financial assistance and no job on campus you have to go for an off-campus job.

Campus Life

Fest is held annually and Different college ambassadors host the fest in our college. But there is a need for a tech fest in our college. All types of Books available in the library are needed for engineering. Sports competitions are held regularly. Different functions are held in special occasions.

Admission

Our college takes admission in two ways: First, through wbjee counselling, it is available for both West Bengal domicile and All India quota. Second through decentralized counselling by your board's exam. The application of the decentralized counselling is available at uit.bruv.ac.in There are reservations for SC ST and PWD. Admission fees are 41900.

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech
