Our crowd is quite optimistic and we get good company of friends to balance both our studies and entertainment.
Our canteen is quite good and provide good quality of food in decent rates.

Dislikes

There is some notion of violence amongst students and lags some discipline and decorum

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose computer science because I am very much interested in computer and their working. Also, it is very relevant and has a Good scope for placements. 5 professors per 120 students is our ratio. The faculty is very qualified and use Good method of teaching. Exams are on a semester basis and it becomes easy to pass them with Good notes and properly attending class.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 45008 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fees göt hike from 43k to 45k annually. But there are some scholarships available for economically weaker students. The process is also quite easy and you are supposed to fill out the form and send some important details to avail of scholarships.

Campus Life

Our annual fest tatva is a delight to the college students with a very huge audience and Good chief guests. We have a good number of active societies where students can enroll and can learn new skills and can get Good exposure levels.

Admission

The admission process was quite easy, we were supposed to apply through the official portal of Delhi university where we got details like exam forms, important dates, college fees, and different cutoffs. I applied to my course through the first cutoff. The website should run more smoothly with better servers.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Sri Venkateshwara College’s experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.

Placement Experience:

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is bsc life science and its not that good for future perspective but it includes both zoology and botany so I choose it. Beside this we have some skill development courses which is quite good it teaches subject like basics skills of IT and python. Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
