Course Curriculum Overview

As I chose CSIT(COMPUTER SCIENCE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY) which is a part of IT as well as CSE. So in my dept. All the faculties are too good. Their behaviour towards students and making a student's friendly environment is too good. Most of them are PHD holders and very good at their own profession.

Internships Opportunities

As I am in 2nd year I dont have a brief knowledge about this. Yes, there are so many chances to get an internship in a reputed company. The projects are good. We won many competitions. As far I remember our college took part on hackathon and mark their place on 2md or 3rd

Placement Experience

From the 6th sem onwards students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies like TCS, COGNIZANT, ACCENTURE, MINDTREE, CAPGEMINI and so come in our college and recruit a huge no. Of students. The percentage of getting placed in a placement is almost 95%. After the degree, I want to pursue MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 70k per semester which is affordable. And there are many scholarships from college on basis of your YGPA. There is 99% scope for getting a job. There are many students who got 2 or more jobs at a time. So college is too good on the placement side also as well in an internship.

Campus Life

There are many basic 3 main fests held. 1. Tech fest - URECKON 2. Cultural fest- ECSTASIA 3. Literary Fest-EUTOPIA Additionally, many clubs are there, like, music, drama, gaming, dance, coding, bio and many more and these all are run by students. And our library is actually giving us a huge round of books.

Admission

As we all know that JEE MAINS is the entrance exam for the b.tech degree. And every year cut off differ on the basis of the question set. And for my case, our college got admit students with their exam name IEM-JEE. And there we scored and on the basis of that, we got admitted.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
