Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for this course because I want to go into the civil services field; Faculty: student ratio (1:50); Faculty had Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields and their teaching method is interactive and understandable; Terms exams were on time and the difficulty level was moderate.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 11600 per year

Internships Opportunities

Various informative companies do come for seminars and recruitment such as unacademy, they give much informatics and also tech companies conduct seminars making us habitual to graphic technology. Rest, I don't know much as I'm so new in this college to get that much information.

Placement Experience

In the last sem of the course, students are eligible for placement; Various companies visited for seminars such as unacademy; The highest package is 10 lac per annum and the average is 4 lac per annum; 60-70% get placement; I plan to give the UPSC exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was quite affordable (an average of 12,000 per year); Fees were not hiked generally, if it does, then rate is minimal; There are National Scholarship Portal and also scholarships for women, sc/st, and based on merit.

Campus Life

Fest was conducted annually and on various occasions and generally held in the month of April-may; There are various sports: Cricket, Kabbadi, Kho-Kho, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, and many extra curriculum activities: dance, singing, acting, quiz, drama, arts, photography, and many more; Social groups on Instagram such as Nataraj dance society, septum, inquisitive, marsh, and many more

Admission

Admission was based on merit; The application form was available on the official website of du.ac.in (fees - ?11,600 for 1st year); Reservation applied in OBC category (cutoff reduction by 1% and also women candidates get 1% exemption; The admission process is quite simple and accessible.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Even leaders like Barrack Obama too had an interaction with SRCC students in an open air event.

I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

MAC is magnificent!!

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too....Read More

My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others. And for the admission you have to appear in common university entrance test (CUET) conducted by NTA then you have to apply for the admission through Delhi University's counselling process which is common seat allocation system CSAS then according to your score and college preference you'll get your admission....Read More
