Remarks

My admission process was merit-based and I got selected in the first cut-off ( in the general category) it was the initial phase of the corona so our admission and all documents were done online. The transaction and admission process was subtle and easy for everybody. We didn't have to hustle much about the documentation there was our college site on which we added our documents and when they got approved there were further easy processes to pay our fees and it's done.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose this course because loved science and wasn't sure about what to opt for if I had to choose one. So I opted for this course because it had all the subjects like maths, chemistry, and physics as main courses and a variety of optional courses which changes every semester. Like I had an environmental science course, a communication skill course, and mathematical computation which includes latex, Fortran, wolfram, etc. So it provided so much diversity in a single course. The student ratio is pretty well in our course as we nearly have 50 students due to which every student got to perform well and are under the eyes of teachers. All the teachers are well-qualified PhD holders and still doing their research work, even some have written books on the perspective subjects they teach. The chemistry faculty is the best among all the faculties from which I have been taught, and the laboratory classes are well-instructed. We have exams every 6 months and are easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4

There were many companies and NGOs which provided internships in 2021. Around 150 students got qualified for those internships which were in various fields from social media handling to content writing and graphic design, etc. While there is our placement cell which frequently gives internship opportunities to all students in various fields by connecting better companies every time.

Placement Experience

4

Most of the students get well job offers from placement cells. Some of the company visited includes Wipro, Infosys, etc, and had given a decent amount of package to students in various fields. The average package includes a 40,000-50,000 per month salary.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many companies frequently give internship programs and we have a placement cell also in our college which brings a good opportunity for the students. Talking about scholarships, the college on its behalf gives scholarships every year to students who perform well in academics( like percentage based as I have got it two times) and for people who have low income. So it's very beneficial, even though there is small scholarship test that happens every few months.

Campus Life

4

Well, talking about fests they don't happen in our college as it is off campus but there is an annual program that happens every year, and other colleges take part in it including us, and regular events including sports ones are organized in various festivals and on different by our societies. Further adding on we have a great library and we can easily find journals, newspapers, magazines, books of our course in that even we have a separate reading room on 5th floor which is fully air-conditioned. The women empowerment club of our college, the career aspiring group, the ecological group, the dance society(raga), we have many social groups operated by students. Our sports team also gets chances to outshine other colleges in various fields ( baseball, fencing, basketball, etc)

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
